2 good full backs would make a huge difference to this team.

So frustrating.

 

Well that was overall a * result at home.

 

I know it doesn't feel like it, but the majority of us came into this match expecting to get pumped, this is still a good result.

If we can get a few more players in, I think we'll win the second leg comfortably.

 

Way more positives coming out of that game than I expected looking at the teamsheet beforehand. Played some great stuff at times and can clearly see what Ange wants. 2 new fullbacks and get the rumoured bodies in and we're looking decent.

 

Takeaways from that game:

• Bitton is a fud
• Ref was a clown
• Midjtylland are very beatable
• We need more quality, quickly

 

How * was that last freekick. What a total * mess Rogic made of it..

Didn't have a clue what to do when he received the ball, despite it being spoken about just before..

They're a poor outfit. We had them well beat at one point..

Woeful result all in and we looked completely flat, out of idea's and done as soon as they scored..

That'll be us no doubt out over there..

He looks like an outfield player that goes into nets cos no subs left!

 

That was alright. * goal to lose but showed enough that we can cause them problems over there.

Missed a good few chances but real signs of improvement.

 

Genuinely think we played a good game, apart from Taylor/Ralston/Barkas and Bitton.

 

Load of *. Played well for about 20 mins.

Barkas or Bain are utter dogshit. Christie as usual is just diabolical (hits about 30 shots all go over the bar,sends in a corner and cant beat first man)...And Edd.....Just .....*.

For me, a lot of positives. By * are we grim to watch still though. That 2nd half was rotten. All the good work and enthusiasm from the first half seemed to evaporate as soon as Bitton (get tae *) went off the park. However, a lot of obvious things standout that need addressed such as the goalkeeping situation and lack of a proper striker. Couple of new full backs would be nice, too. Taylor and Ralston are at best OK as back-up.

Game should've finished 2-0, but we'll win in Denmark.

 

Better team even down to 10 men.Ange looked happy at FT,convinced he’ll have better team going into 2nd leg so I’m happy.

 

*. Gutted not to get the win we thoroughly deserved it I think. A lot better than expected and a few cracking performances, Welsh and Christie mainly. Obviously mixed with a few horrendous errors.

Overall content with a draw considering the circumstances, but it could have been so much better.

No longer expecting to be pumped out in the first round is a nice bonus.

 

New Gk, Lb, Cb and Rb asap please.

 

Don’t really know what to make of that.

I was wholly underwhelmed by the clubs summer business and figured that we’d REALLY struggle tonight. But 2 brainfarts aside, we completely dominated them and should have won comfortably.

We could have a decent team if we make a few key appointments! Over to you Dom!
