Just watched yesterdays press conference, warming to our new manager, he MUST be given time AND support and no way can we judge him on this season as the board have as usual hamstrung our manager for CL qualifying And Calmac giving it the unreadable cold neutral face, not sure Calmac has enough anger to be our captain but he ticks every other box

I could be wrong, and I certainly not naming you here (I also am not going to trawl through hundred of posts), but the response in general terms from the Aussie side after some of us questioned him being frustrated, angry etc in an interview from last week(maybe 2 ago), was that it was simply just the way he treats the media and we read too much in to it.

 

There has to be an issue with Abada's registration. No way he'd be omitted otherwise.

 

yeah. I would take into his account his words and not his demeanor. He always looks and sounds depressed in press conferences, even after a good win.

 

Well he is traditionally surly with the media, but he's gone to a bit of a new level at Celtic.

Most distressing for me at the calmac conference was Ange's body language. It seemed like he could hardly bear to sit through it, which is a worry when announcing a new captain.

 

The registration list is from last Thursdays deadline.
We can add more to that list as of 11pm last night.
Abada wasn't in the building in time for that original deadline (I think)

Ange said he needed a miracle to change his current list so that tells me there has to be an issue with his rego and maybe that's why he was so * off at the presser.

It’s funny how the club at the moment never ceases to disappoint, even last week when it was announced we bought Liel and especially Kygo and Starfelt was close and we were chasing 3 RBs you think we are getting our act together a bit.

Then you have a disappointing performance full of young players and no further transfer announcements. I fear for the season if it is a particularly negative result tonight, as momentum particularly for a new manager often is massive.

Realistically a couple of signings for the first team have been needed a week since mid June given the late arrival of Ange.

Obviously some signings will be dependent on sales but what we have seen so far (all be it limited) it hasn’t massively changed my opinion that a good few need sold beyond just the four wanting out and probably another 7 or 8 brought in (including Starfelt as not signed yet).
