That will be it, also having so poor a squad with 2 strikers who look like they are * or dgaf were looking desperate.

This club is being managed my a board room of * who don't know how to run a football club they really should modernise and get the staff in to run it properly it's just one embarrassment after anothér with them in charge

I like Ange, but there's no way this isn't a 'strike' against him.

He's got a binary decision here. An early opportunity to show what he's all about and he's seemingly chosen to keep Griffiths or at least allow Griffiths to be kept.

It won't be the hill Ange dies on by any stretch of the imagination but Ange supporters coming on here would be better placed admitting he's got this one wrong for one reason or another. Excusing him just shows unreasonable bias.

I think if the squad wasnt as thread bare as it is now I dont think he would be kept on. Could still see him being sold this window if an offer comes in. Needs must.

Well that's the same for a good amount of * in this team.

Ralstan/Christie/Boli...all tossers and will also probably get the lapping it up when they do the basics



Griffs as much as he's an utter * with the social media antics...I couldn't stand the * for a number of seasons now. The board are keeping him on and are Absolute * for doing so....Ange playing him,is also an absolute *....regardless of the state of our front line/team.

Massive own goal for everyone at this club.

I want his contract torn up. There isn't a conversation to have when it expires in 2022.

 

I love Ange, genuinely think he's down to earth and when he gets the squad he wants, I think we'll do good, I also think we'll have a decent season this year and properly challenge the huns.

Despite all that, this is still a big strike against him. I completely understood keeping Griffiths the first time, Of course I didn't agree with it then but in Ange's mind he maybe thought he could get the best out of him.

Since then, Griffiths has turned out to be a nonce and yet we're still standing by him? It's a horrendous decision, he won't live or die by it but it's still a major let down.

 

Same with every team mate, a lot of Huns slagging Griffiths and probably rightly so but I mind when Gascoigne battered his wife and flung her down a set of stairs, banged in a quality free kick v Aberdeen the following weekend did a Benny hill salute and he was the Govan loyal hero again

only have to look at luis Suarez in what other job would you be allowed to take a chunk out of someone s arm 3 times for absolutely nothing, yet 3 of the biggest clubs in Europe, Liverpool, Barcelona and Athletico Madrid all signed him for big money, cause at the end of the day he was a cracking striker and that’s all they really care, morale s go out the window
That said Griffiths isn’t a cracking striker

 

Getting rid of him was undoubtedly the right thing to do so it stands to reason that our board would decide to keep him on.
If a bunch of the staunchest huns were running our club for the past 3 years they genuinely couldn’t have sabotaged things as badly as these useless *.

 

We deserve every hammering we get as someone said earlier in the thread if we let him back in.

 

Said before, I was fine with the extension providing it was reduced wage, as regardless of fitness and being a wee ned, he was handy from the bench for a late winner etc. I always believed he was a better impact sub, under Deila the season he scored loads most came from the bench as an impact sub. But this whole situation now is toxic, even if it was fake, time to just move on and sack him.

I can see him being in the squad for the 2 legs vs Midtjylland then punted out on loan somewhere before the league games start. He should have been punted from the club already though unless it has been proven the messages were from a fake account, and I haven't heard anything about that being the case. Everything about the club recently is a massive *.

 

If Griffiths plays and scores the goals that put us through to the next round I will be happy. My concern is the team winning above all else i could not give a flying * who scores the goals....Ange will play him IF he thinks that doing so will benefit his team....that's what good managers do...the team winning comes above all else. Whether he thinks Griffiths is a total walloper is neither here nor there if he gets him to the next round is all he should (and will) be concerned about....not about how us (the fans will react to tbe decision) good on him.HH

Ange has more or less taken the same view as you for what it’s worth. Lack of squad depth doesn’t even come into the conversation and shouldn’t come into the managers thinking. Morals and standards out the * window it seems.

Celtic player or not, I will boo the guy if he gets near the pitch tomorrow night. He deserves to be hounded out of this club
