Season ticket renewals I understand for many it's an escape or a social thing something to look forward to during the week seats that families have had for years I don't judge anyone on renewing cause I would have renewed if I had one

Merchandise I agree completely that we should withhold our money until significant change is made I didn't buy any merch last year and won't this year either I make an exception for those buying for kids as when I was a wee guy I wanted all the strips

 

Our recruitment is random agents bringing us players. Seemingly even the players are starting to call it out.

 

I was going to buy a piece of merchandise after 2 signings made. But I'm glad I've held back and will continue to.
I honestly don't doubt the manager is doing all he can but he is not being supported properly,if he walked tomorrow I would wish him the best of luck.

 

Merchandising makes little difference to them. If we withhold a chunk of merchandising they'll just sign one less player or sell one more to make up. It's the worst of both worlds. We will lose more trophies but get no where near effecting change.

Season tickets are what runs this club. That's the only way to get change.

 

This is all on Lawwell, Desmond, Bankier and the other charlatans running the club. All in for the coward Howe. Lennon was a yes man. He often spouted " if we don't get anyone in then the squad is good enough..."
Lawwell is still hanging around the club like a bad smell. If they don't back Postecoglou then he will * off. He doesn't come across as someone who will be messed around unlike the puppet that was in charge before him.
The board have created one * of a * and they have to be held accountable.

 

Doms been in the door long enough now.
He's the only one Ange has had to deal with and considering we have no sporting director, director of football, technical director, call it what they want, then it's the CEO that's responsible for getting things pushed through, the CEO who's signing off on players, the CEO who's meant to be chassing what little scout/recruitment staff we have to present viable options.

Doms a CEO of a massive football club, the honeymoon period is never long, nearly two months in the job full time, with another nearly 2 months shadowing lawwell, Dom takes the blame now.

Glad Ange is calling out the recruitment process. He * should. It'll be his head on the block if someone else fails.

Totally agree. Everyone always seems to want to give Dom time to understand how it all works etc. etc.

Can someone explain to me why we hired someone that needs time? It's the classic Celtic mentality - no one of quality wants to come here so we just need to accept what we get.

Why not hire someone that knows what they're doing and what needs to change from day 1? Is that really such a baffling concept?

Fs he sounds fuming already. Can’t blame the guy but he would’ve been well warned by folk surely. Good he isn’t gonna be a yes man let’s hope he can get a defence he wants and kick on.

 

Guys came from sru and was a selling point to us.

I'd find it baffling if he doesn't know how a sports club should be ran, that he needs to shadow lawwell and a prolonged honeymoon period.

Coming from sru, you'd think he would understand that a decent sports club needs specialised teams behind the scenes, from recruitment to physios, coaches to key managerial positions.

None of this is rocket science and as much as I'm wanting to give him time, it's running out quickly.

Honestly, by now, he should have at least have hired a director of football (or whatever they want to call it to pretend they aren't being ridiculed in to sense by the fans), from there they can slowly build the "world class modern club". At least show us something.

Give the Aussie lads some credit, he does come across just like this.
I can imagine he's gonna get a response from most players.

His problem though is the lack of support he gets in new players and coaches etc.

Postecoglou has my respect for speaking about the sloppy way this club is run, even if it's somewhat veiled. We need honesty and openness at every level of the club.

Enjoyed listening to ange there, seemed abit more upbeat I think cause soro, bitton forrest etc must be back training.
