I dont think so. He will want to make his own call on players. Can't be a clean slate if it doesn't apply to everyone. This is aside from Griffiths though cause it seems to have taken him all of 5 minutes to dirty his slate. But for anyone else the manager will need time to assess.

If it was his own decision them he's simply made the wrong choice then. I don't buy in to this clean slate chat either as I said in another thread Leigh Griffiths getting a clean slate is totally different from Stephen Welsh getting a clean slate just because there is a new man in the dugout doesn't mean we will just forget about anything that has gone before

 

I don't think its about forgetting but more giving them a chance to prove themselves. Before he was a * idiot and messaged girls online, Griff was training hard by all accounts. So it seemed like he was trying to prove a point. He * it though and he'll need a miracle to turn the fans opinion now

 

He's been here for 7 years now he's had more than enough of a chance to prove himself. How do we know he was training well cos he was posting videos of himself training when technically he was without a club and he even managed to draw attention to himself from that with wearing the Scotland training gear. * him

The club is a circus as usual and again will say Desmond and company need to get to * out the club and the manager needs players in big time and need to back him and with 35 million at stake why do we do this every * season it's because these clowns on the board are clueless and no ambition either .

 

I can't believe they've let Griffiths put a dark cloud over the club for the second year in a row before it's even properly kicked off.

Ange has enough on his plate already with the state of our player recruitment, the poor showings in pre season games, and a number of players out injured or self isolating. And now he's the guy who's got to go in front of the press and take the flak for saying Griffiths has been let off the hook once again.

The guys a * cancer on our club and no amount of goals or scarves round goalposts can make up for the distruption and aggro he repeatedly causes within our camp.

 

We have put up shitstorm after shitstorm last season and now this.I have boycotted the shop/online since last year and continue to do so.

i have read numerous posts on here from people having a go at the club for the wrongs they have done and so far(maybe i missed it)i havent seen a post from anyone saying they will stay away from park head till the club sort themselves out.

Imo as fans its up to us to take action and stop moaning.There are people on here saying how their looking forward to getting back into the ground and imo these people need to have a rethink.The board need to know what we expect and if that dont deliver than they should be punished(no money from us).

If griffiths scores when the fans are back ye can bet the crowd will applaud,but it should not even come to that.Fans should refuse to attend games while hes a squad member id go as far as say they should stay away for a couple of games at least as a protest against the boards poor running of the club.
