He's Aussie and also has Greek heritage which is even better, but he looks like someone who runs the local pub team, lol.

Didn't see any press. It was Preston even after their raft of subs, pressing us in to our own corner flag. No fluent moves or attacking football. All at sea defensively and that was all day to be honest..

I have zero confidence going in to Tuesday..

 

He’s got almost nothing to work with right now.

 

None of this is Ange's fault. But we're getting pumped in Tuesday.

 

I feel for the big man, the current squad he needs to work with is absolutely horrendous, no manager deserves Ralston and Taylor as their full backs.

Midtjylland game comes far too soon, but if he can manage to get a Draw or even just a 1 goal loss then I think we still have a chance.

He needs help, whatever way we look at it and whatever happens, it is just madness that he is here on his own.



Can totally see the style he is trying to bring in to the side, it is exciting, fast, football.
Keep this up and eventually it will click in place, specially as he brings in and finally gets everyone else back in to training and on the pitch.

His style needs the fast wingers to attack, Abada and Kyogo are going to be key, both will be like having a Sinclair on each side, with good support to the striker - whoever that ends up being long term.


I will say though, he needs to find the settled lineup and quick. Judging by who is needing to come in and that we are making wholesale changes in these friendly games, still, I really am not confident for Tuesday night, at all.
That is no fault to Ange, that is on the board for leaving his appointment so late and leaving it so late to bring in players he needs.
The lack of support staff for him as well is in no way helping.

Guy needs to educate hawdit and daudit along with trying to then get them to help him get the philosophy across to the players.

The young guys are not going to win us the league, we really need the main 11 to be playing full 90minutes at this stage (the game before a major competitive match).

 

Well big guy, if you never knew just how hard it would be well, there you go. We will support you because 99% of us know that the fault lies solely with our incompetent board who, once again, failed to prepare our team for the forthcoming season. Hopefully you will persuade them to get the players required for you to be able to do your job such as:- a GK, RB, LB, a big tall commanding CH and a big strong CF. It looked to me today like most of the players aren't getting the message on how Ange wants to play.

What I don't understand is how does the conversation go tomorrow morning with Kennedy and the Laptop? He has to train them while also trying to coach 25 players.

Why has he not brought in people that know him, his standards and his style, at least so he can turn this * round quickly.

The extremely difficult task has been made so much harder for no good reason.

James, I'll go further than that....most of them are incapable of doing it its not about not getting the message they just aren't up to playing football at the level we expect.

Trying to make honey out of dug *, the man needs at least 7 first team ready players for his methods to work.

Yeah not impressed and I think he knows why and isn't seemingly that concerned. Mentions it is a young side out there, lets not kid ourselves - most won't be starters for the season ahead. He really is needing about 5 new players to take their spots and some first teamers to come back in fully firing.
