One thing that has been slightly bugging me about this guy is the fact he keeps reiterating we need to get ‘back’ to winning ways.

I hope his ambition for the club isn’t just what was in place prior to last season.

I don’t consider getting * out of the Champions League qualifiers by AEK Athens, Cluj and Ferencvaros as acceptable in any way whatsoever, regardless of how many domestic trebles we win.

The club's operations model won't change until the fans stop renewing season tickets.

 

Wants to 'modernise' the club..

How about one smooth transfer negotiation..

 

any chance of signing some * players

 

Frustrated? Don't be.

Like we say, Dom is no mug when it comes to social/pr/marketing all that malark.
Here just hoping it isn't just hollow and empty attempts though.

Great to get these things up and rolling, but the "real fans" will see through it, if it becomes just hollow and no true engagement WITH the support.

Need more of the fan pressers and none of the * of last season where we banned fan media from attending press conferences.

 

Furuhashi merchandise will pay off his fee alone once he knocks a few goals in.

Now we wait for a Sony or Toyota sponsorship.

 

Happily take either, specially if it gets shot of Dafabet and all that *.

Another part where PL failed us miserably. Too happy to lap up what was seen as a joint/best option under the old Tennents days, we ended up falling in to this * sponsorship trap.

 

Been trying to do some thinking, positive outlook thinking on the future of the club etc.
Bare with me, while I ramble this out....

So the Eddie Howe saga was * a long long time before we got told it was *. Rumours are the board knew the deal was * before they announced ST renewal details and led us on with the whole "near future manager" nonsense.

Rumours previous to this had also surfaced that Dom was at disagreements with some people in the background and was close to walking away as well.

Dom was brought in early on, for some reason or another he cut his time short at the SRU in favour of Celtic.
Is it possible (and I am starting to think it is), that the deal for Howe was * long before Dom even came in to the building? Had PL and the cronies already * the whole situation by insisting on Kennedy etc being his assistants?
Has Dom came in to try and salvage it, and when it became unsalvagable he has then went gungho on getting Ange, his man, in the door. At this stage has this been met with PL and others (Bankier?) taking the huff and trying to sabotage the deal - hence us all being told days before renewals that there was hope of a new manager, only to find out 2 or 3 days later that Howe had fell apart and the club felt the unusual urge to make a statement about that. Something we normally wouldn't do. Has that been Dom trying to do his early stages of PR control and damage limitation? Ange suddenly came out of nowhere, really left field and quickly was given the job.

We all seemed flabbergasted by it and assumed a rushed City Group gift, but subsequently Dom has been keen to emphasis Ange is his man and has known about him from before.

We seemed to be content on letting guys go, like Klimala, with no manager in place. yet weirdly we spent a long time now NOT getting in any first team players or spending decent money.
Til this week. Where we now look to be spending over £10million on 3 players, Starflelt, Abada and Kyogo. Three players that we could all find connections to if we try, but are somewhat off the radar from previous dealings (earlier in the window we was getting linked to the same old * in Nisbet, Wykes etc).

Has it been the case that PL really has * this club over one last time before he left and set us back completely for about 3 months now? Only finally are we seeing some progressive movement?

 

Now lets see just how committed he is to his promise of better communication now that he'll be dragged over the coals over Griffiths

 

100 days and Howe's staff didn't want to come.

3 questions need answered

Who had the final say on Ralston and Griffiths ?

Why is Griffiths still here what happened with the internal investigation ?

Why are we yet again dragging our heels without using covid as an excuse ?

 

He's already at risk of losing his reputation with fans, moreso due to the Griffiths situation.

Needs to come out and explain himself, there is every chance that * Desmond is still pulling the strings but Dom needs to explain himself.

 

Have we heard anything really from the club/Dom since the decent pressers?

The media output has been fair, although it does all seem like they are doing things once, then thinking that's enough.

The pressers are a month ago now, nowt been heard since. But we're seeing the manager call them out twice now, signings slip away from us, the Griffith's saga happen with no real comment from the club.

Ange being left out to field it all, when nearly none of it is anything to do with him.

Back to being awfully quiet.
