Some of you's are obsessed with hating Christie. Giving it the same * patter about him for 8 month now.

He had a * season like a lot of players but he
Seems to be getting it worse than anyone.
He was crucial in us winning 8 and 9 in a row.

He will be on low wages considering when he signed his last deal.
Hes entitled to go somewhere else and triple his wage.

There's no loyalty in Football from players or fans anymore. Acceot that.

Remember how selective most of you are when you lap up Dembeles tweets etc.

    Everybody asleep?…

James Forrest would be the perfect RB in Ange’s system.

    No chance.

He’ll be lucky to have a career similar to Paul McMullan. He won’t make it here.

Hope you're wrong. Was amazing against Wednesday but done nothing since.

    Still very young though...

You know, defensively I don't feel Forrest gets the credit he deserves.

If we found a younger alternative to Forrest to play rw I'd be interested in seeing Forrest at rb.

Ange has form for turning wingers into wingbacks.

Did it with Matt Leckie in the NT and pretty sure there's another example eluding my memory...

But when he does that it usually means three at the back. Which he's not yet tried at Celtic, but he does have that in his kitbag.

    I've got three more

COVID wasn't the reason Rangers won the league last year. We were abject and they didn't lose a single league game, Celtic fans shouting about that are as embarrassing and them shouting about the league being stopped early and tainted titles

And to make myself look like a * here cause I just did it in the previous sentence. Whataboutery needs to stop, if we * up or are called out on something we need to just get on with it. Shouting about them and "what about XYZ" to try and deflect just links the two teams together by association

Oh and I still say Old Firm cause that was the name for 25+ years of my life. My local chippy has changed its name 3 times since but I still call it "Freddie's" cause that's the name it had growing up. Trying to pipe up and correct people and be serious about it is wee guy patter

He’s brilliant defensively but his most underrated attribute is how good he is at taking the ball under pressure and keeping it.

His composure under is * unreal. He rarely gives the ball away unless it’s when he’s taking someone or crossing.

He’s up there with Calmac when it comes to receiving the ball under pressure and keeping it and making the right pass.

    So so composed.

Fraser Foster wasted his career moving to Southampton and would have had greater recognition staying with us.

Ajer will hate playing for Brentford but will love living in South West London, and will look to move to a bigger club next season when they get relegated

Think it was under BR he had the highest retained possesion for a winger in the Champions League. Something like 93% or ridiculous like that.

His performance against Bayern, at RWB is his best in a Celtic strip I think.

I think he would lose concentration off the ball too much to play consistently in defence.

I may be wrong or harsh but sometimes it looks like he falls into a daydream off the ball.

Ronnie Deila did more for the club than we realise and should be welcomed back. Off the pitch he did more than any manager in recent memory. Rodgers success was built on the players he brought through and the changes he tried to implement at the club.

You could even go as far as to say if he had been properly backed (by players and the board) he could still be manager today.

I don’t think he’s done that in about 5 years. Before that he did do it constantly but.

Yeah that’s where I had my doubt to be fair. Seemed to change when Rodgers got a hold of him and I expect Ange would take that even further.

I still have big regard for Deila. I believe if the club had given him the right support, especially a defensive coach, he’d have flourished more than he did.

Wouldn’t be at all against having him back as manager in the future, with the right setup. I’d also be happy enough if the board considered him for DoF or other technical role.
