If we signed Starfelt today and Soppy or even Boey before, and are eligible midweek, I'd fancy us quite a bit..

It's always a bit more exciting when a signing comes out of nowhere too.

Tbh I still don't hold much hope for the Midtjylland tie - feel it's too soon for the manager, squad, new signings. Hope I'm wring but just feel we need more time to bed in the style of play and first XI too low on quality, especially the defence.

To be perfectly honest, I agree to an extent, but I'm also hoping that the tie will show Ange's managerial chops, in that he'll adapt his bigger plan to get us through this round - or at least a good effort. If he's a one-plan man we'll bleed out over the season, and take some awful skuddings in Europe (if we make it!)

 

He’s a solid 9/10 every week. No ideas how good a footballer he is though.
