Mate this is snowballing and it’s boring the * off me now. I don’t think employers would take kindly to their workers looking at school uniform fetish pages on the internet. Wiki or not. Personally I don’t even see the connection.

No * else is bothered so let’s leave it at that.

£5m is a lot of money. I'm hoping he's worth. Literally never heard of the guy but seems like everyone in Japanese football rates him, which bodes well.

Let’s be honest no one had heard of lubo or nakamura before they signed, lot of right hidden gems out there around the globe if you have the right scouts or people in the know , was another reason why I wasn’t over enamoured with Eddie howe, might be a young forward thinking coach if he even is that but probably wouldn’t have much knowledge of players outside of English players who probably weren’t getting a game for the team they were at, don’t care how good the English premiership is a lot of absolutely guff players plying their trade in it, guys like Barton, Duffy,Andy King to name but a few

I know it’s not what we all care about but given he seems a well thought of player in the J League and has broke into the Japan international team, commercial opportunities will probably increase significantly with this deal which will likely more than cover the cost of this deal over his time here.

More importantly he seems a really technically gifted player who has the attributes to have a significant impact.

The only question will be about him settling in, as others have mentioned being able to secure the likes of a Ko Itakura may be a great move for us as it would give him someone he knows from the international scene to help with that. Fingers crossed.

It will be interesting to see end of season merch sales with this signing and having Aussie favourite as manager rumor was when nakamura was at the club it shot up by ten million

HE’S shared dressing rooms with some of the biggest stars playing at the top of their game.

Now Andres Iniesta is tipping Kyogo Furuhashi to join that list.

Celtic tied up a shock deal to land the J-League’s top scorer from Vissel Kobe.

While his name might be new to many Hoops fans, new boss Ange Postecoglou used his knowledge of the Japanese market to sign the 26-year-old.

Spain’s World Cup and Euros winner Iniesta, 37, has known all about him for the past three years.

The Barcelona legend has been a club team-mate in Kobe and quickly singled the attacker out as someone who can shine on this continent.

Speaking before his departure to Parkhead, Iniesta said: “He absolutely has the talent to play in Europe.

“He’s leading the J1 scoring chart but it’s not just that.

“He’s got strong technique and I believe he can succeed in Europe. It’s going to be tough for us because he scores a lot of goals.

It’ll be tough, but if he goes to Europe I’ll be incredibly happy for him because for Japanese players it’s a dream to play in Europe.”

Furuhashi has netted 14 goals in 20 games this season and becomes the third Japanese player to play for Celtic after Shunsuke Nakamura and Koki Mizuno.

He grew up in a basketball-mad family but learned to play football in the dirt fields near his home in the Nara region.

A club visit to Barcelona’s training facilities before the pandemic gave him a taste of European football and he started learning Spanish during lockdown.

Capped six times by his country, he now dreams of getting a chance to star at the World Cup.

Furuhashi said: “I love European football and it’s been my ultimate goal to play in Europe.

“As a striker I pay a lot of attention to the way I attack and combine in front of goal.

“I can keep learning — the tactics, the way you organise yourself are also a little different there. I played a lot on dirt fields when I was young.

“I have a lot of memories of rainy days and rough fields. I think all players have been through that.

“It all seems so far away now but I really enjoyed it.

“I have great memories playing as a kid with a lot of cold in the winter and a lot of heat in the summer.

It was really fun and it was a great experience. I was able to enjoy football from a very early age.

“I grew up without forgetting how to continue enjoying it.

“Playing in a World Cup is more than a dream, it’s a great goal.

“I’d really love to see what it feels like to play at that level — and I think about it very strongly. I want to make the most of my opportunities.

"The shortest way to reach everything is to focus on what is in front of me in the short-term and everything else will come. I have to keep working.”

“All Asian football has been getting better over the last few years.

“It’s growing and there are more and more Asian players playing in the big leagues.

“The World Cup is a very special tournament and you never really know what might happen, even though an Asian team has never made it to a final.

"It would be a great honour for me to play the next World Cup with Japan.”

Furuhashi previously played at J3 League side FC Gifu before moving to Kobe in 2018.

As well as Iniesta, that move also saw him play alongside the likes of World Cup winners David Villa and Lukas Podolski.

He added: “I feel really lucky to have met three world-class players like Andres, David and Lukas. It’s been like a treasure, a very precious time.

“They are players I admire and respect, not only on the field but also off it as people.

“They have taught me a lot about football and life.

"Nobody likes to lose but when I trained with them I realised how competitive players of that level really are. They don’t like to lose.

“The coach who has had the biggest impact on me is Takeshi Oki, during my time at FC Gifu.

“From my first year he taught me the best. He marked a before and after in my life as a footballer.

“Something changed inside me and he taught me to bring out the best in myself. I can only thank him.
