I still don’t see Taylor turning it around with us though.

 

It’s good money for Ajer, but it’s only good business if it is reinvested in the team. I don’t mean half of it either. The full fee has to be used for the rebuild.

 

See I think that’s more of myth to be honest I’m not saying he didn’t try but at start of the season he was like the rest who wanted away effort was minimal against ferencvaros he was looking to leave and when the window shut and knew he wasn’t leaving his effort picked up people will say professionalism but I think him talking about future and ins and outs of club and behind scenes was disrespectful and unprofessional basically alerting clubs that we need to sell guys an * in my book van dijk moved on and he didn’t make one press story about his future neither did Forster or wanyama at the time

100% having some of the younger players out on him, possibly the winger we have just signed for 3 odd million as well.

The recruitment is shambles still though. Really needed a first team ready centre back in before the first qualifier. Knowing fine well Ajer is away and our other first choice CB is injured.

Kris Ajer has been an incredible signing. Moved to a different country at the age of 17. Gradually made his way into the starting XI and became a very important player for us. Can’t fault him at all. Potentially be world class in 3-4years time. Seems to be one of those ultimate dedicated professionals.

Brentford have got a bargain and he’s probably made a smart move where he’ll probably play every week.

You can question how good he is, whether he's overrated or not. But his attitude has been first class. Anyone pretending otherwise is at it.

 

We all knew VVD could do a lot better than Southampton but he went there showcased his abilities and got his big move to LFC within a few seasons, I suspect something similar will be on Ajer’s agenda, good luck big man.

 

Him opening his big mouth to press is a bad attitude he got his move he’s under contract Celtic are allowed to get the value they believe he is worth trying to force a move as if Celtic was holding him against his will question marks also have to be asked why he was planning to leave on a ten in a row season and Celtic had to plead with him to stay

Great move for him at this moment in time. Potential to follow in VvD:s footsteps no doubt.

 

I always find it weird when he gets accused of being * in the air. I’ve even said it before but he challenges for his fair share and wins most of them. Just not in the opposition box or our own.
