I think his lack of defensive ability will truly be put to the test wherever he ends up. I can’t believe we managed to get circa £25 million for Frimpong and Ajer!! Hopefully we give ange all the money to reinvest.

Ange will probably get 10 million of that money the rest will be banked.

Decent money given his contract's up at end of season and it being common knowledge he wants away. Need a couple more sold now, we only need players who want to be here.

He gave his all whenever and wherever we were, and that means a lot. Probably the closest I can recall to the likes of Roy Aitken, for good and ill. Best of luck for where his career takes him from here, but be with fond memories of all this efforts while he was here.

We’ve already left it too late for the CL. My worry is we are forcing players on him in true Celtic fashion. We need to let him get his own players in because we must win the league this season because of the CL route.

13.5million is class for a guy who could've signed a free contract in a few months.

Great player. Best of luck. He'll go to the very top if he continues to improve.

No ill feeling toward Ajer for leaving, but with 99.9% of all players leaving Celtic he leaves with my same feelings.

Thanks for the memories, now * off couldn‘t care where you end up :50:

I wish him all the best and he done the right thing by Celtic insisting he leaves now as we got a decent fee.

I agree I’m not bothered where they end up, however I’m hopeful they do well as it reflects well on us as a club that we are a springboard to richer leagues.

He seems like a good lad as well and I wish him well.

    Are you high?

He couldn’t be any further removed from Forrest if you tried.

One is a left sided defender that couldn’t attack, assist or score if his life depended on it. The other is everything else but those things.

Plenty of interesting posts on here and looks like we are getting a great player in the making. It’s a given that the attraction was PL football and not the desire to be a Brentford player. If he does well for us and hopefully keeps us up he will attract attention from the big clubs and like many before him will be sold for a nice profit that will be good news for Celtic.Seen a post about playing in front of just 17500 fans as small as that is compared to your attendances it’s in our new stadium and a full house will still generate a great atmosphere.10 years ago we were getting 6000 gates along with most of the previous 30 years so these are great times to be a Brentford fan and most of our fans know what we are amongst the giants around us but I hope we can shock a few of these so called top 6 mega clubs.Best of luck for the new season.

Absolutely wish him nothing but the best. Can see him moving on in a years time if Brentford go down so as others have said we probably have a sell on profit clause which will hopefully net us more money later as there is no doubt in my mind he will go onto bigger and better things for a much larger fee.

    I don’t think that’s what he means?

Probably how Forrest was treated in his earlier years compared with now.

Not sure I agree with that but you never know.
