I’ve full confidence in Ange’s ability as a manager but the board need to back him, even klopp would struggle with our back line

 

Europa Conference League might be the final destination, which let's be honest would be a great place for the team to gel. Might even have a chance of winning it

 

That's what we used to say about the Europa league . Maybe we need a Europa Highland League to have a chance.

I watched some of that game last evening. Friendly as it were. You can tell quality from just watching and we are well short. Honestly, outside of Cal Mc, you wouldn't trust anyones first touch. I like Turnball, but even he needs to step up a notch in technical ability. We're really lacking a few ballers.

You can see the impact Ange has had on the team winning the ball back higher up. And the lads were giving 100%. But the quality just isnt there at all.

 

I can't explain it well enough, but I've just got some good vibes about the direction of the celtic (on the pitch).

Initially I was super hesitant as I thought he would be a character like Lennon in terms of stubborn arrogance.

But as the signings look like to be picking up pace and they are for positions that need urgent recruitment (still waiting for a rb and lb though) it's looking really positive.

Getting more and more confident with Ange then I did initially with guys like Ronnie and the return of Lennon.

 

Getting pace into the side with furahashi and abada, something weve sorely lacked!!

An attacking lb and rb now please.

 

It's obvious Ange has been reading the forum. Nothing else can explain the suitability of his latest signings.

 

Buying player's to suit his system. Adding rapid pace that we've been crying out for and real, flexible goalscorers..

A no bullshit signing, no leaks, no agents playing games and clearly a purely Ange target, things are starting to look good. Will be interesting to see if there's more that we don't know about.

 

At last a degree of normal transfer activity, hope this is a positive sign it will continue this way , pat on the back to club wen they get it right .

I don't think anyone we signed in 2020 was anyone who should be playing this season. Unless Ajeti can pull it out the bag, 2020 must go down as one of our worst transfer windows ever.

To be fair, Ajeti looks much fitter already this season. I think he'll come good and rattle in 20+
