dont know how to phrase this

but its like we need to slow things down a bit as because we passing and moving with speed so well this team is just sitting in their own box and hacking at our players

we need a bit of cuteness a bit of craft instead of all this automatic fast tippy tappy was were not getting chances

is it because our team is young, its like a bit of nous is needed to draw them out a bit so we can get in behind them

Lots of positives from the first half, McGregor looking like a QB again.

Too many times looking for the perfect move, the easy pass.....need to gamble sometimes.

Haha this ref's at it. Stopped about 3 quick freekicks. Letting go them jumping to handball clearances from our own half and blowing for absolutely fuckall in the box when we look like scoring..

Played well there. Impressive considering our lineup is very young against their's, plus 2 of our kid's have been forced off..

Passing them to death. McGregor bossing it with the slippers on..

Defensively been pretty good. Especially playing it out from the back. They've hit the post off a set piece that's about it..

Ajeti dangerous to a point but doesn't do anywhere near enough linking up outside the box. Ran on to a a couple of through passes though..

If we get the right signings in, you can tell we'll be a good side..

Can see where we’re going with the style of football, but it shows where we really need to recruit for it to work. LB/RB is a given, without decent signings our system is gonna be *. Taylor not fast enough (mentally nor skill wise), clever enough, nowhere near the standard we need. Also need wingers and a centre mid that can open up defences.

All in all though pleasing on the eye, we just need goals.

Would like to see more shots on goal, we keep moving the ball wide when we have a good central position and a chance to test the keeper.

This totally , pressing seems a bit better , but we have the same issue as before , not making clear chances , crossing is * , big lad at the back looks decent but not getting tested much , johnston made of chocolate n karamoko feeling wot its like to play wae the big boys .

Zero cutting edge, desperately missing a couple of half decent full backs again

Brilliant. Shows how misused he was in helping an immobile Brooney whilst being run in to the ground in terms of mins played.

Very worried that people seem relatively happy that Ajeti will be our main striker. Still has a * of a lot to prove, im not convinced. We will not win the league without a quality striker, simple as that.

Our 3 goals in our first game all came from the high press.

Well I think considering the team we have out..

Could be a bit more trigger happy but we've got in behind a few time's..

We need better than Ajeti up top..

Once we add to this side, we'll be decent..

Their first team and been flying in to everything but our midfield trio bossing it. McGregor taking the *..

    Centre halves been good..

All Ange's chat in the training videos has been about constant attack, get forward, no rest until the games over, no more than two touches before you pass

But in the games there's been plenty of dithering on the ball, slowing the game down, sideways passes, * about in the final 3rd.

I thought he was meant to come in and blow teams away, pass man city off the park etc. Not scrape a 2-1 vs Charlton.

I realise it's only pre season but I thought with less than a week until out first competitive game we'd be starting to see the exciting Ange brand of football we've heard so much about
