But if you think he's got the power to overrule the board on ANY decision because he has total authority then you're dreaming mate... If board said Griffith was gone and Ange disagreed, he's gone... If Ange says gone and they disagree he stays, and then it's a player in the wilderness scenario.

Surely being an unprofessional waster would have met that threshold long before they decided to give him a new deal.

Most likely he told the police he thought she was over-18 and they gave him and warning and left it at that.

I’m of the opposite opinion. It’s very unlikely that the only clause by which his contract can be terminated on is a criminal charge.

There’ll be plenty of others in there. No a lawyer but imagine things like ‘bringing the club into disrepute’, ‘behaving in a manner that is unacceptable’, ‘not upholding the values of the club’. Something along those lines.

I’ll be very surprised and disappointed if he’s not out the door shortly.
