Soro is a good player

 

Dont think he's quite ready to be first choice imo.

With Ntcham staying itll be between him, Soro and Shaw for that third midfield spot.

 

Soro is excellent. Very tidy player who mops up everything I'm midfield.

We looked so much stronger last year when he was in for Brown imo

 

I like Soro, definitely need a new LB in but for me, it's unlikely to happen this window while the rebuild is as big as it is. Soro would start most games for me but I've said before that I would like to see Shaw, Connel, Robertson and Lawal get minutes in the first team when it's possible.

 

Shaw will be the long term solution - if not earlier.

 

Soro still isn’t the answer but I’d have him in the team all day long before Ntcham

 

Think @Celtic_Daft1888 is correct on this one. As shocking as I think Boli getting a game is . He suits Ange's style so much better than Taylor.

Taylor is a better defender.
Boli us a better attacker & all round game is better.

You no a Soro fan? Shaw by the looks of it is first team ready too.. never against another additional ti midfield but I think its our strongest area..

 

Big time.. I know its only preseason but he looked very sharp and stood out in both games.. Said it on his thread I'm hoping and expecting a big season from him.

 

Boli is better than Taylor.

Using being an improvement on Brown is hardly a compliment to Soro…

 

Sorro was great in the game against Lille, if Brown played we would of lost i’ve no doubt. Still young and raw obviously but a good manager will sort that

 

To be fair to Soro, he played 20 games for us after Christmas. He's 23 and has over 130 professional appearances. He's ready to play for the first team.

From what I seen, he was top class. Always in the right place and consistently winning the ball back for us. I certainly hope he improves his first touch and his passing. But I don't think he'd look out of place as our ball winning mid.

 

When Soro and Turnbull were introduced to the midfield last season it was the best football we played until Soro was dropped to accomodate Brown

 

We 100% need to strengthen in the middle..

I like Soro but I wouldn't be relying on him at this point. We need a Berg type to come straight in who has that quality and composure to make a difference. If no a type like him then a real quality tank Wanyama-esque. A magic 10 also if I'm being really picky and get rid of Rogic and Bitton..

 

He's a good player and could potentially be a brilliant player but he still needs to work on parts of his game, like his passing. I think his positional sense and his tackling are excellent but I'd like to see him drive with the ball a bit more at times when he has the opportunity to do so instead of playing it back.

I can understand the reasoning behind wanting to strengthen the midfield though. Soro is far from the finished article and requires coaching to progress to the next level. I have faith he can do that this season though.
