Where's that guy that emails the scouting department?

 

Just looking at free agents that we could possibly get and there’s a lot of talent there. Give them a million or two sign on fee and a decent wage you’d think man.

A couple of exrienced guys like the big Serb and Mangala (both bosmans) and then a few youngsters you’d be jammin.

 

There's so many out there it's baffling to me that we don't have some guy's lined up or in on trials etc from the out of contract market. Staggering infact considering the gaping holes in our squad and the rebuild that's needed..

 

Was for Man City to be fair but big, strong, quick and good on the ball and played a high level most of his career. It was always his price tag never justified what he was as a player at the time but he wasn’t awful. Just awful for the money.

 

We live in hope but that hope is being dashed every fecking day. We come on here praying that we have, at last, signed someone half decent only to be let down time and time again. Countless rumours or articles in the press help to build up our hopes - only to be dashed by news that, whatever player it was, has either signed for someone else or has just knocked us back. We will no doubt eventually sign 2nd or even 3rd choice players and just have to suck it up. So we go into the Champions League qualifiers, once again, totally unprepared and we will start a new season with a team weaker than the one that lost the league to the huns.

 

Really worried that the CB rumours seem to have died down, was hoping we'd have one signed before the qualifier.

 

They have actually asked to look at the cheaper right back in their team

In about 3 years time..

 

If we sell Edouard we could do a lot worse than signing Daryl Dike of Orlando City who was on loan at Barnsley last season. Would potentially command between £5m-10m but guy put in a few impressive performances for them and is a big physical presence and an athlete

 

I thought they were looking for £15m for the guy. He was good last year though.

 

Yeah decent player, think he had a US$20m buyout clause which equates to £14.5m.

 

Wonder if Mitchell Dijks would be attainable

 

There are some really good free agents out there we should be after

Jethro Williams Dutch LB formerly of Newcastle
Adam Reach and other Sheffield man, we like stealing then these days, left sided but has played most positions player (not a world beater but would be a good versatile option for the left side primarily)
Van Anholt
Alioski (but I suspect he'll get a move to a bigger prem. Team)
Nathaniel Clyne for the RB
Diedhou striker formerly of Nottingham Forrest
Valerie Germaine French striker
Juan Jesus
Gazzinga, Betteneli both good GK options

Loads about, we won't go for any of them though, they're all older than 22

Plenty more of love that are just not feasible though for wages etc like Alan Dzagoyev, the Russian captain or Yannik Bollasie

 

Diedhou I really want. Big 6’4, pacey battering ram with a decent record in the Championship.

The mood would certainly change

 

Another CB, Nicolas N’Koulou also a free agent after leaving Torino, supposedly Leeds were keen but lots of experience in Serie A and Ligue 1 for Lyon and Marseille. Quick, good on the ball and would fit Ange’s way of playing out from the back and high line.

See Oriol Bursquets has left Barca B in search of first team football after a season on loan I Eredivisie.

Kenan Karaman is a forward who can also play of the left, gets a regular game with Turkey and scored and assisted goals in Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 over last few seasons not a great return but seems to have something about him.

 

Would certainly lift the mood.
Can't see us getting both boey and soppy though.
Two right backs from the one team would be madness on their part, unless they are storing up about 7 right backs currently?

Starfelt and abada will surely walk in to the match day squads quickly enough, then one of the two right backs would be good as well. For me they would be the replacement to Ralston though, neither look to have played that many games to convince me they are first team starters for us, yet.
