    Looked lively and showing signs of what he is capable of but I thought he went a wee bit Christie with some early efforts rather than try a pass, could be the * he had to play with to be fair. Still good to see him out there, we need a big season from him

    I like him, but his decision making is still suspect. Too often he tries to take on one too many players when a pass is on and gets caught out or blocked off, or he'll shoot from a difficult position when there are other options. He did have a good cutback for Eddy who messed it up, and he was unlucky with the shot off the post though. If he can improve his fitness and decision making issues he could be a top class player.

    I was very impressed with him today. Looked really sharp for this early in pre-season. What a massive boost it would be for us if he could stay fit for the full season as there is a really good player there who as I mentioned before IMHO has the potential to reach Shaun Maloney type levels.

    What a player we have here and we don’t really know it yet. Needs to stay fit and get a proper run of games. If he does he will hit double digits in goals and assists.

    I know he’s young and he’s still raw but his decision making is up there with the worst I’ve seen. In saying that, he’s a phenomenal talent who, with proper coaching, could be a very very significant player for us. His talent on the ball and the runs he makes isn’t the problem. It’s making sure he’s aware of the better options he has when on the ball. He’s got everything, he just needs to be coached and that’s where Ange could really get the best out of him.
