Most foreign players are going to be willing to take less money for a shot at a league like the EPL. Scottish football is just too much of an uncompetitive environment.

 

They won't though mate... Pretty sure I read that the AVERAGE player salary in EPL was £20-25k pw. So drivel on the bench are earning nearly the same as our top players.

The club is a shambles and run absolutely shockingly, but you'd have to be the thickets * in the world to knock back £12million if your finances are that tight you can't afford a £4million signing.

If things were that bad, we would be having a fire sale and gladly letting Griff, Ralston and Ntcham just * off without renewing.

But for me it is nowt to do with Ajer staying or going. They are just tight *.

 

Even if Ajer stays in interim he does not want to be here and will be gone in January. He is also a bit of a * and can on occasion not fully commit to a tackle.

We need a Bobo or a Johan no nonsense type defender who will run through a brick wall - Ajer is not that type of defender. We don't have that and the big Swede could have been the answer...

 

This club is a total joke if that is true, just confirms it’s a sell before we are buying anyone of note. This guy sounds a good fit for what we want to do now we have screwed him over (if true) and tried to go for another loan.

I cannot emphasise how much loans have played a significant part in getting us to where we are struggling now, covering key positions with loans and no forward thinking about how we will fill those positions.

 

I dont see what Ajers got to do with it he will be going regardless this summer

 

I've zero faith that we'll actually have a team ready to compete by the start January let alone CL qualifiers.

At least this season I'll not be nervous for the qualifiers as I've accepted we're not going to get past our first opponents.
