The only sensible solution is to bring through more of our own players. The problem is that we as fans often won't accept it if players don't immediately hit the ground running.

It's not natural. He's been assistant for 7 years or some *. If he had anything about him, he'd leave and cut his teeth elsewhere.
It * stinks how he was absolutely forced on Lennon and now Ange too.
The vast majority want him gone.

We’ve got a Lisbon Lion as kit manager. No ambition clearly.

Ever been out with a new girl friend who you are really attracted to and all she does is complain about her ex all night ? Does not make for a good start.

I haven't George, but my reputation as a passionate considerate lover is legendary and it just wouldn't happen to me.

Right guys, we need to stop panicking . It's not as if the start of the season is nearly upon us or that we are about to start our Champions League qualifiers or that we don't have a full squad at our disposal (with players to cover every position) or that we don't have quality backroom staff in place. So, basically, nothing to worry about - I'm just away to take my pills now and have a wee lie down.

I can, the actual game is fine, the people who play it, the people who watch it, the media that report on it, the people who administer it, the (victorian) politicians that blow their load over it... they are the abominations.

You really have no idea about our club or history.

I suggest you go away and educate yourself before you make an even bigger idiot of yourself.

To be fair I only watch when the local side plays and it’s either a derby or something meaningful. Aaaand it’s way better live than on tv. Actually a lot of the ball movement is reminiscent of football. Well, you know. Anyway this is probably for another thread.

Haven't been to an afl game in years, local even longer, but grew up watching footscray games at Western oval. Then it turned to *.. but yes, another thread another time.

Having the afl link and as I stated earlier I wondered whether ange could bring in Darren burgess, I think he's at the demons now but just did some research to learn that Unai Emery got rid of him at Arsenal after Wenger brought him in, apparently Burgess had 45 staff under him there, took control of coaching sessions, match analysis, stats, and his speciality strength and conditioning and sports science, he's worked with Port Adelaide, Adelaide, Liverpool, Arsenal (I think Australian NT) would be a no beginner for Ange if he could do it.
Having said that... I don't think Anges biggest problem is Kennedy and Strachan, it's the fact he needed to not only make some signings, that were his, but he needed to make a statement with it. He's done nothing and that's troubling.

If one of their own score for their nation I am certain they will respond with more than a yawn my friend. Both first and second generation Australians of ethnic background support the Socceroos. Australians are very egalitarian and are not burdened with being in a society divided by class structures. You will find that when Australia plays, the people are behind them, irrespective of their ethnic origins. Australians are a sports loving people.

Sounds like things have changes since I was there for a year in that regard then. It is almost 25 years ago. You lot do love your sport so not surprised that change has happened.

It is different here (Europe, in several countries/regions, not just Scotland) as I said. Mostly for historical/cultural reasons. But also because club football is the main sport in across Europe.
