Bullshit ! You do not represent Scotland or speak on behalf of all Scots. If you are a real Celtic supporter and a Scot how can you not support your national side ? You are just trying to justify the crap you were spouting previously.

I'm sure Dominic McKay said Ange would have a part in choosing his staff as it's all geared towards how he wants the team to play and the levels of fitness etc.

Correct, Egypt is in Africa, and a strong football nation. If you have been keeping up with Asian football you will know that the other teams are no push overs.

It's not bullshit @George Theodorou. Fair enough if it doesn't chime with how you support the national team.

It's not uncommon for some Celtic supporters only to focus on the club. That is not exclusive to Celtic either.

Also, as we are historically a club associated with Ireland a lot of supporters will have more interest in how the Republic do. I understood that to be similar in Oz too where Italians, Croats, and Greeks for instance could well support those teams as opposed to Australia.

A lot of the north of England don't associate themselves with the England team, although that is likely to be forgotten by them tomorrow night for at least a short time.

I think you're like one of these mad conspiracy theorists and their are a lot of them on here. Why can't you just take people at face value. He says he wants them, so he wants them. I don't think it actually matters to him who his coaches are as long as they carry out his orders to a high enough standard and he must think they can.
He hasn't taken his own team around with him like some other managers do. I get the impression that like other top managers like Ferguson or Mourinho he's so sure of himself that he only needs people around him who can do what he tells them.
Why are you so exercised about who the coaches are, it's almost an irrelevance as long as the manager is in control and leading us in the right direction.
I couldn't care less if he brought in Michelle McManus as his assistant and Jackie Bird as the first team coach as long as we're playing decent football and winning.

He doesn't need to look far away from Greece. Support for Greece in matches is * because the club rivalries are so strong. I don't agree with it, but it's the reality.

You’re just proving that you don’t know much about Celtic or Scotland in general. There’s pretty much a lot of apathy when it comes to International games and they’re treated as an annoyance that Is breaking up the real football, where our players can be robbed from us through injuries and effects Celtic winning.

Sure you watch the Scotland games and hope they win but it doesn’t hurt when they lose. This summer has been the most support Scotland’s seen in years due to the Euro’s but in general, it’s treated as a sideshow that no * really bothers about.

it’s more the chookters who are right into it.

We do it fairly easily, because we don't confuse blind patriotism with the need to support a football team that has constantly let us down and is quite poor.

No one ( not many) dislikes the national team or wants them to fail, we are just not blinded by sheer patriotic emotions in to it.

I don't think you are following.

I am saying Kennedy in particular having been there years under good and bad regimes will have some level of club knowledge to transfer, about players, their mentalities, etc. Things you don't uncover in a few weeks. It's not that different to other industries. Given where Ange has come from, I can at least understand the thinking.

I am not giving him credit or hammering him, he's been part of good regimes and bad. I am saying you cant focus only on the bad and discount the good, it's not balanced.
