I've clearly acknowledged I accidentally added a vowel. So now that is out of the way with (as it was in the previous post), back up your claims, or you're gonna bottle it like "Big" Jessie who throws out accusations with nothing to back it up?

It's not that he didn't improve anything, he didn't even do anything different.

His plan was to continue in the same * that he let Lennon do.

He's got nothing to offer this club any more.

Genuinely this is getting boring now. I understand you back Ange so let me ask 2 questions

Do you think it was his decision to renew Griffiths and Ralston deals and if so was it correct to do so ?

Do you think it was solely his decision to keep Strachan and Kennedy ?

Course it wasn't. Big Ange knows he'* the jackpot here, there's not a chance he's not obeying his orders.

Yeah I can understand why it's boring to make accusations and then back out from providing the evidence when you're called out for it.

Be gone now, ain't gonna respond anymore to the annoying provocations by the likes of you and "Big" Jessie.

I get the impression you think you're the dugs bollocks and it's hilariously misplaced.

The only decision we actually know he’s made is to keep Kennedy and Strachan on. That’s it.

As for pressure, I’m talking about taking us to 2 world cups. But you condescending lot think that’s nothing because Australia is a footballing backwater. Ffs Ange got grilled by the media in his early coaching days for failing to make the Olympics. It cost him his job at the time.
Qualifying through Asia is not as easy as all of you are making out. Yes, we get the equivalent of your Faroe Islands, but the travel and weather extremes, not to mention the down right hostile atmospheres they sometimes play in. It’s not a walk in the park. Australia is a sports mad country and success or failure brings a lot of scrutiny. You’ll probably trot out the common response I’ve seen on here that we’ve won nought at a World Cup. If you had as broad an interest in football as your making out you’ll know Australia has performed exceptionally well against some of the best teams in the world. As an antipodean, with Scottish and English heritage, who loves football and follows various leagues, but just happens to be an Aussie, I would dare say I have a much broader knowledge of football than you!
And yep, I can log out. So can you

Can't mind reading that but wouldn't be surprised if true. If he is then prioritising funds for players then all the better, I don't believe that lesser coaches will have as much of a negative impact as long as they are capable of doing as the manager requests, Ange seems to be very hands on anyway so he will be the one directing the sessions

You obviously don’t follow Australian Rules. There’s several clubs that pre date Celtic by 20-30 years. And very much treated as a religion.

I totally understand that re Strachan and Kennedy, but it has been anges way to weigh up what's there, then change, he may even be looking within, we don't really know. He is a strange beast and does at times so things that supporters/media don't agree with (see 3 at the back for australia)

I'm not sure if it's been said, haven't been on top of it all this week buy has it been said that Griffiths/Ralston were re-signed after ange arrived or was it something already in place but not announced. It's not unusual.

Why does everybody think McKay is a Peter Lawwell clone?

If your football knowledge was as vast as you seem to think, then you'd know there are few clubs that can prepare you for the pressure of being Celtic manager.

Managing Australia v the likes of Saudia Arabia, Fiji, Japan and South Korea is all good and well but it's nothing like the 24/7 goldfish bowl that comes part and parcel of a global institution like Celtic.

Don't take my word for it, look at any of the countless professionals that played at World Cups, Champions League, EPL etc. then came to Glasgow, many say there's nothing like it.

Also both Dom McKay and Ange said in the joint press conference that he had full control over the squad and staff, so all we can do is take him at his word and presume that it was his decision to renew Ralston and Griff's contract. If you believe differently then you're by extension saying that Ange lied.

It was being rumoured when we had been trying to get EH apparently that was one off the stumbling blocks it’s a bit of a shambles really and surely any decent manager hearing that would bolt not a great start isit. Am still giving Ange the benefit of the doubt and hope he does well but just believe he ain’t done himself any favours keeping those two around they bring absolute Hee haw to the table , Nada. Strachan fancies about on a Lap top and Kennedy is in the mix tae report back to the board he should a got shoot a them in a instance.

Ralston was before Griff was after.

Ralston was a year option we had and was done as not to leav us with 0 right backs at the club in a worst case scenario and he’s on like a grand a week so they don’t really care about it.

Griffiths was 100% Ange’s decision. He was on zoom calls with him before he signed, he was telling him what he wants from him and what he see’s his role as.

Have we seen anything to suggest there's been a marked change in direction for the PLC?

No DOF, no infrastructure changes that was mooted, no coaching team changes bar Ange for Lennon. No money spent so far despite Midjtylland game in less than a fortnight.

Yeah but irrelevant of what Ange thinks the majority of us feel Kennedy and Strachan should have been gone along with Lennon so whether or not Ange rates them or not they shouldn't be here regardless and it's very debatable as to why there even here in the first place. Ange said he had conversations with Griffiths when he first came in and the deal was announced shortly after whatever way I look at it I can't see a positive for Ange its either just a bad judgement call or something the board have forced upon him.

He’s been in charge 9 days mate. 9 days.

You can’t change a club in 9 days and we have absolutely no idea what’s going on in the background.

All we can do is take them at their word, like you just said. Ange has control over the backroom staff and wants to assess them.

But it’s not so much that, that I was talking about, Lawwell was a micromanager and wanted to make everybody’s decisions for them. We have no evidence that McKay is similar to that.

In fairness I think its very early days for Mackay.

Would be very harsh to judge so far. Insanely harsh actually. Took me about 12 months to actually be properly pro on a daily basis in my job :giggle1: different roles but even still he's only officially taken over 1st July.

I can't get my head round the transfer activity though...can only think that AP is obviously working off a list of players he hasn't physically asked to be targeted himself and that's why it is taking longer but that would be one of few excuses I'd give.

We should at the least have 2 new first team starters in by now. That to me is a worrying sign and jts been a bit quiet for too long now.

We’re irrelevant, what Ange think’s isn’t. That’s the long and short of it.

And he’ll thrive or fail on those sort of decisions.
