I for the record, have several times said on this forum that Aussie reactions to Ange's appointment was cringe and embarrassing. So I know this might be another shock, but perhaps comment on individual people than stereotyping a whole nation.

I think the vast majority of Aussies have been pretty measured, though there has been some cringe (I've probably been guilty of it also) its well known ange has his weakness' and anyone who knows aussie football will know that. (We don't expect Scots to know) .

It's also a fact that Ange has always taken on the coaching structure within a club before changing or not changing things. He did it at Brisbane, Melbourne, the Australian NT, and Yokohama. (He may have even done it at south)

Could it be a potential that Ange brings in Darren burgess, particularly for the sports science area, Wenger brought him into arsenal and he was very influential. He's also been at Liverpool and a host of AFL clubs. If Ange is going to try and revolutionise celtic this would have to be a major area.

Nah on a serious note in Regards to the backroom staff surely folk mind it was rumoured back a while ago if the manager was wanting to bring his own backroom staff it would come out his overall budget meaning less money for players.

Sorry honda, but history tells us he was a bit part in the Rodgers setup, with Davis and Toure taking bigger roles than Kennedy did.
History tells us, when Kennedy got promoted to being an integral part of a small backroom staff, he * it. Then * it on his own merits.
He's now back to being an integral part of a small backroom staff.

If Ange had 3 of his own men in place, then we may feel a little more at ease with Kennedy being here, knowing he won't be an integral part.

But he is, and all of these players know he is a failure.
Won't be long till unfortunately the buzz of Ange being here drops with the fans and the players, it's what happens after that which is important. Will the players be motivated by Ange alone to continue as is, or will they look to the dugout and see Kennedy there again, face tripping him and think "this is just the same * different day".

To be honest I can 100% understand you guys coming on board to give us an insight in to the manager I'm sure we've all found out bits and bobs we didn't know previously but it's when people who started following the club about 6 weeks ago start telling us how the club runs. When Ange was rumoured then confirmed a lot us said his first real test would be when it came to back room staff Kennedy and Strachan have been forced upon 3 previous managers and Strachan is only here due to his surname. I accept Ange may not bring in his own staff everywhere he goes but that still doesn't give enough of a reason to keep Kennedy and Strachan in place even if it meant promoting from within it would still be someone who knows the club and give more of a sense of a rebuild actually happening. At the moment we're seeing a film we've already seen before and I think that's where the arguments stem from we've had this all before

That's before even looking at the contract renewal of Griffiths and Ralston

 

I'll wait on you showing me where he claimed Ange was on a par with Pepe
