Some people are just * at being a manager. Some people are really good at following managers instructions. Hes not that bad if Rodgers tried hard to bring him when he left. Get over this obsession its his fault. He stepped in for a bit while we courted howe, done like every stand in does.

So Kennedy was that good, his input made Rodgers successful here ? Nonsense.
He offered * all as an assistant or manager last year. He sat in a huff with a sour puss the whole time Lennon was there, in fact there was a few times he visibly shrugged and shook his head when Lennon spoke to him.
When he got his shot, he didn't change * all. We arguably done worse towards the end.

 

He was an integral part to 4 trebles in a row. Historic. Just because he doesn't have the main man skills to sort out depressed players isn't his fault.

4 trebles in a row vs one bad season with crazy circumstances never seen before in history, restrictions and forced tests on players followed by riots by fans attacking buses. Thats tough to fix in 10 games. So far history shows hes not bad and your just bitter

 

Kennedy is not picking the team so same mistakes won’t happen .... I’d go as far as to say he isn’t manager material because when he was caretaker he resorted to what Lennon was doing rather than change it up

I heard an Aussie on a Celtic podcast claim that Ange would aim to go as far as he could in the CL, but "only an idiot would suggest Celtic could win it...for now."

You're doing the same thing. Giving him credit when Rodgers had us flying, the same Rodgers who's clearly a world class coach ... but looking for excuses for him with Lennon.

I don't even think the biggest Kennedy propagandist would claim the above; all you have to do is look at the evidence.

Under Deila - 3rd in command - tasked with defensive organisation: Some of the most hoaching defending we've seen in decades, 2 Champions League qualification exits (3 infact, if you include Maribor) a Europa Group campaign that we broke records...for all the wrong reasons, 0 wins in 6.

Under Rodgers - 4th in command - tasked with general coaching duties at Lennoxtown, no strategy, no tactics - Unprecedented success

Under Lennon - 2nd in command - Another 2 Champions League exits, a treble achieved but in the most fortuitous of fashions rather than excellent tactics - Forster's sheer brilliance winning us the League Cup Final in one of the most one-sided final's in history and a Penalty shoot-out win against a lower league Hearts side that had barely played in months.

The easy deduction to make in that is that our most successful period in that time is when Kennedy was told to take a backseat and we hired a manager who is regarded as one of the best coaches in the world, who is now on record stating he didn't attempt to take Kennedy to Leicester.

 

I can't remember, I listened to a few podcasts with aussie folk on them giving insights.
