The comments I keep seeing like "wanting him to fail" are SOOO off the mark and again highlight to me that many on here don't get the real fan base of the club or their feelings. I've never met a fan that wants us to lose and if anyone feels that way then they are passing off as a fan...or worse.

If Ange makes this a successful season I will be the happiest * on the forum, however saying being vocal and having the reservations many have, mainly due to the past behaviour of our custodians is akin to wanting him to fail is frankly insulting.

I want the league, don't give a * about Europe or the cups this year, if he delivers then I'll be chugging myself off to him just as much as his followers. Every other fan will be the same.

I'm taking him at face value when he said that he has full control over these decisions. No crystal balls required.

Brisbane Roar and Yokohama Marinos are nothing like the pressure of Celtic, if you're claiming that then you have no knowledge of football. Zero.

It's a forum to talk about the thing we love, Celtic.

It’s so clear now why Howe said now. Just over a week until some of our biggest games of the season and not a penny spent yet and JK and Strachan still there.

That’s Moi, Laxalt, Brown, Duffy, Bayo Kenny, Hendry all away already and we only have 2 youngster from Sheff Wed to show for it. Some rebuild right enough.

Some people have an absolute hard on to assassinate every person since what happened last season .... still won’t bring that season back so we should be working to get over it

Who really gives a * who the assistant is? People are so bitter about last year they want everyone possibly connected with it removed. Not the fact everyone connected to it was also connected to the one and only history defying quad-treble. I count myself in this with players etc.
However its time to back the team, you only ever hear from some supporters here latching onto anything they can spin as negative. Makes you wonder why they bother. Players had a * depressing manager last year and it showed. We have an up beat manager this year, time to see the difference. Players we hated last year could well be back to world beating treble players again. Yes we need signings, we do not need rushed pish signings.

Kennedy is 100% being lined up for the job and they will stop at nothing until he’s there permanently.

I’d go as far as to say that if we had beaten Rangers in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox and went on to win it, he’d be there right now with Strachan as the assistant.

I'm aware that I'm as much of a broken record as anyone else on here.

Let me start by exhorting my fellow Australians (again) to try to understand the depth, lineage and ancientry of Celtic tradition. We have nothing like it in Australia and expecting lifelong Celtic fans to trust Ange immediately (as we would) is like asking an altar boy to trust a bishop.

They have a depth of love for their club that is taken in with mother's milk and there is nothing like that in Australian culture. Maybe two up on Anzac day? We have to respect that. Even aspire to become part of it.

To the auld fans... there were quite a few when Ange was first appointed who said they wanted him to fail because if he succeeded it would only encourage the board to go for cheap options in the future. I daresay those opinions have moderated but they definitely happened.

Speaking only for myself - Ange is the Australian Special One - without being teh * that Morinho is. We Aussies are delighted to see him get his chance in a big league so please excuse those few of us who get overexcited.

Surely we all want success for the Bhoys.

The issues people are having is It’s the anxiety of last year the amount of players moved on or looking to move on Christie, Ajer, Eduard (although i see these players starting against Mytjland) the loanees returned to their parent club and the fact that very little or no player’s especially first team players in yet with 10 days to go till CL qualifiers gives us the impression that their is poor forward thinking mentality at board level. From our past experiences we believe that nothing has changed Ange is a better quality Ronnie Daila, All we need now is John Collins to be his number 2 or director of football and we will have went full circle.

Telling that the only 2 that like/agree with this are deluded Aussies.
What 'inside information' is it they 2 clowns know, that is so integral, so super duper important, it justifies their position after that shambles last season ?

The aussies are so deluded man. This reminds me of the boy who was on a podcast saying Ange is that good, he'll win champions league :52:

Please explain what is deluded about someone wanting to wait for results before passing judgement?

That is actually sensible and mature. But please explain your logic how that is considered deluded, I would love to hear it.

The last sentence is all that matters. Egos, personalities, everything else is insignificant.

I would certainly have taken issue with any fan wanting us to lose because of the manager.

Every single aussie poster that's appeared on here in last month has told us big Ange is the new improved Guardiola. All conquering messiah that has zero flaws, his only flaw is being too perfect that teams are scared to enquire about hiring him.
How it doesn't matter how many * staff or players are imposed on him, he is that good, we'll win everything, champions league included. His football is that good, he's a rare hidden gem.
Oh he's also definitely NOT a yes. No sir. Not a yes man...honest.

John Kennedy has been there since Brendan Rodgers so it is ridiculous to suggest there will be nothing to pass on to a guy completely new to the footballing environment.

    1) You didn't answer the question. What is deluded about someone wanting to wait for results before passing judgement?

    2) Show me a single post I have even remotely suggested Ange was at the level of Pep. You're generalising, and if you're not, I say again, show me a single post of mine where I've big upped Ange to the level of Pep.

John Kennedy took charge for 10 games last season. Had his chance, changed nothing, was * *.
To suggest he offers anything is ridiculous.
