Fair enough, my first thought was you shouldn’t be signing players without a manager in place. Or a DOF (why that appointment is actually crucial) because you could bring in 6 new signings that don’t suit the style of play. It could potentially be horrendous and a huge waste of money.

We definitely have been * over by the board big time but I don’t expect us to make many signings until nearer the end of the month sadly. I think we’ll be lucky to make 2 signings by the qualifiers and unsure if they’ll even play between quarantining and getting used to the club.

If he ever was it would have been last season, must have backed himself to play his way in. I respect that.

 

All their centre backs were injured, he probably thought he would get a shot but they played midfielders ahead of him. It was a strange signing from Liverpool. I imagine they would want shot pretty quickly.

As For Ben Davies, people giving him stick for joining the EPL champions Liverpool ahead of Neil Lennons Celtic come on, lots of us gave up watching that * last season nevermind pinning your professional future on it..

 

Decent player but would never be spending £10m on him. Not a * chance. Half that and it would be something worth looking into but absolutely no way at that price.

We were linked with him multiple times when he played for Houston Dynamo and we probably should have taken a punt on him at £2.5m I think he was sold for. More than likely just throwing our name in there because of past links and as you said, beef up the story
