But they simply CAN'T.

He has been given more chances that Chancy McChancer at the last chance saloon.

 

His future at the club is untenable. He will be hounded at every Scottish stadium he plays at from now until he retires.

Goodwillie still gets the "beast" treatment after his prosecution for rape in the civil court.

He was given plenty warning about his use of social media and didn't heed any of them, he deserves everything that's coming...including the likely loss of his wage at us.

Im a big fan of Leigh Griffith as a footballer but this is the kind of disruption and negativity we dont need at the start of new era. I dont believe for one minute Griffith is a 'nonce' but he was advised by many people months ago to stay the * off social media. The guys an idiot and ive run out of excuses for him.

 

Police are probing new claims Celtic star Leigh Griffiths sent inappropriate messages to a second teenage girl on social media.

The striker has been lying low after it was revealed cops are investigating an exchange between an account linked to the 30-year-old and a 15-year-old female youth player with a Scottish Premiership team.

Griffiths is thought to have returned to his luxury property in Bothwell, Lanarkshire, on Wednesday, after being sent home from Celtic’s pre-season training camp in Wales after the allegations emerged.


But a second image has been circulated across social media appearing to be Griffiths responding to a second teenager asking for a picture and saying “your (sic) stunning”. The girl seems not to have answered.

It’s not known yet if the exchange is genuine, who the girl is or how old she is. But Police Scotland said yesterday they were aware of the social media content and are assessing it. Club bosses have also launched their own investigation into Griffiths.

When asked by the Daily Record if they were aware of the second image being circulated on social media a police spokeswoman confirmed : “We are aware of the social media content and the matter is currently being assessed”

Griffiths is believed to be hiding away in the luxurious home he shares with his girlfriend while the investigations are ongoing.

Dental nurse Caitlyn Melville, who has been in a relationship with the father of five for several years, arrived back at his gated home last night after earlier posting clips of her gym workout to social media.

 

I'd have a small wager that we will find loads of young lassies will have received similar advances from Griffiths, that sort of behaviour isn't one off stuff....the floodgates will rightly open and end his career if it plays out how I think it will.

This article though is also lazy as *, pitchforks at the ready stuff and smacks of the rag wanting the scoop without the facts of the story yet.

 

What at the * is wrong with media in Scotland? Are they literally camping outside of Griffiths house now?

 

Almost 100% guaranteed. Our tabloid press is probably second only to the UK wide tabloid press of the * they pull. Couldn't give a * about Griff in this situation but do feel for whoever is around/living with him. What a * up situation to be part of.
