Much more impressive than a majority of * out there.

More impressive than Howes and Postecoglous for example.

I’m not saying he is better than them before people lose their * but his CV is more impressive.

If they delete this thread then a bunch of wee * that have never even seen him play will open a new thread every time they see anything in the Daily Record or Scottish Sun so probably best just keeping it in one thread

I don't think his CV is more impressive than Howe's.

    Not sure about Ange.

His spell at Bolton was awful.

    Hibs was nothing special.

And at Celtic he was managing the biggest and richest club in the country - where in both spells there were multiple humiliations and disasters. Overall, there were many more disasters than there were triumphs. And even the successes were often a hard slog - particularly the second time round.

Realistically do you not think a playing career appears on a CV ?

Aye that’s a bit like putting what you got for your standard grades when you’re applying for a job at 40 years old.

Maybe your first job as a manager your playing career is relevant but after 4 jobs and 10+ years I’d say it counts for little.

I agree there’s plenty of * managers in jobs but they tend to be on a merry-go-round in leagues where they’ve had some success or consistency.

Lennon’s problem is he has only ever had success at Celtic and he’s shown he is shockingly ill-prepared for even that job. That’s why he needs PR, because his only feather was completely destroyed.

I'd say he has one more chance to go into management and put all he has learnt into it. If it doesn't work out I hope it all works out for him.

Yeah I think when he’s finished bashing the Celtic support he’ll get one more chance down south to try and build a reputation.

Other than that it will be tinpot jobs up here so he can try and get one over the Celtic supporters that he despises so much.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't despise "Celtic supporters" :56:

However, some of the sweaty Hun Nonces who want to come on here and slag every member of the 2003 team ( except Henrik). Give them another thread.

He came as close to saying it as he reasonably could, several times. I think it's pretty clear how much he hates this support.

Not all of us of course. I'm sure he still loves the 'real' supporters that adore him personally and think he can do whatever he wants because he was in the 2003 team. I'm sure he'll let us know more in his next hatchet job interview with the BBC.

He's got a far better CV than many, many managers out there. Managed Celtic for a start, multiple league titles and cups with us, managed in the champions League and last 16. Took Hibs to the title and promotion in his first season and at the first time of asking got them to their highest finish in 20+ years and European football. Bolton was *, yes but they were debt ridden and in free fall.

I couldn't care less if he works again or not but he's clearly got a decent CV and one that's a lot better than a lot of guys currently out there. Just because you don't like the guy it shouldn't blind you to it. Btw If your going to do down all his achievements at Celtic then your doing down Celtic at the same time. His Hibs stint ended acrimoniously but he definitely was a success with them. I think your looking at 6 league titles and 5 cups as manager. Being objective I don't know how you can't consider that a good CV.

On these shores, most SPL teams would be happy to have him (the ones he's not burnt bridges with) and he could get a gig at any division below the Prem down south imo. I'd say that's a 'decent' position and working for Celtic and a Prem team would be a 'good' position but he won't get that. I've not considered overseas but I dare say there would be opportunities for him there as well. Hope that's clarified it for you.

Regardless of his CV, any club would be mental to go anywhere near the guy.

The elephant in the room is that after most of his best achievements the best he could get was Bolton, a debt ridden mess that was on track for relegation from the championship. That was after him leaving at the height of his powers thinking he'd walk into a great job.

I think he'll get another dogshit championship job or an SPFL job with the aim of getting one over us and the huns.

It worked to an extent, in the sense that our players didn’t know what formation we were playing either.
