This is spot on for me.

I can't speak for anyone else but I don't care what Tony Rallis or whatever has said. We don't need inside info, we can see what is happening.

You would think we were talking about a big player signing or a big player leaving. We're talking about the manager getting his preferred staff in. The absolute bare basics that doesn't even get discussed anywhere else.

People are actually making excuses for why it's not happened or why it's taken so long. Making excuses for Kennedy, Strachan or even talking total * about CEOs being the ones that hire the managers assistants and coaches.

I mean for * sake it's the reason we missed out on our first choice manager we spent 90 days trying to sign.

It's * bizarre. Sack the previous staff and get new people in. Let's get * moving and stop with the * excuses.

Ange never brings his own staff over. He didn't at Marinos, and he didn't elsewhere. Standard Ange operandi.

Spot on, just another scummy self-promoting agent wanting to get noticed in the UK.

No manager with any real credibility would accept dumb and dumber as their backroom team.

Anyone with knowledge of the Aussie game would know immediately that Rallis was full of *.

Of course I'm not expecting anyone in here to know about our game, it is rubbish afterall.

Why did Griff get a deal, why is Ralston still at the club, why are we so close to the new season and still haven't made any proper signings etc etc ? .....

I can see both players being used as leverage, well hopefully.

Over the next week or so I think we need some clarity on the backroom plans both in terms of his staff and about our wider plans for the recruitment side of things (DOF etc).

Its a little bit too quiet across the board for me. We need players in pretty much every position of the park.

It's the same old recruitment model season after season with us and Ange is experiencing it now. He may have his targets but the board will not sanction any transfers until the qualifiers have been decided. We go into the CL qualifiers every season ill prepared, instead of investing to qualify for CL we wait until we see what competition we are in , that's what dictates our budget. If we do not qualify for even the Europa this season then be prepared for a couple of late loans coming in to booster a depleted squad. If no signings happen soon then Ange is doomed to fail.

The thing is though this season more than most it's clear the squad is nowhere near where it needs to be.

I've said it before but if the board were not willing to back a manager like Brendan Rodgers after the success he had here, what chance does anyone else have, really.

We were lucky to have Rodgers, Ange is lucky to be in the Celtic job, not his fault but that's where we're at right now.

The lack or preperation ahead of the new season is mind-numbing.

We all know that Rodgers was trying to take us up a level with the type pf player he wanted but the board were unwilling to back him. Then any good feeling between him & Lawwell went sour as Lawwell always had to be top man. This is why Lawwell got Lennon as he knew he could control him.

We have all said it from the start. It wasn't the getting Ange in that really bothered most fans it was because most felt he was chosen because of the above & he can be controlled. The Aussie's have said this isn't the case but not too sure. It already seems that Ange isn't getting much his own way with staff & players :triplomur Really starting to feel sorry for the guy but he must of knew the situation before taking the job.

Rodgers had ambition that the Board couldn't match, that's not to say that he wouldn't have * off anyways at the first offer of a decent EPL gig.

By that same token anyone with a knowledge of Celtic would know we have tried this previously and it didn't work and also that the majority of us believe Kennedy and Strachan should have gone with Lennon and not be kept on as jobs for the Bhoys employees and have done nothing to merit the roles they are in (Strachan especially).

The rebouild should be a complete rebuild not a half arsed attempt where we just throw out a few promising sound bites

If a manager is isolated at a club then he's easier to control, i'm not saying Ange won't command respect but if it starts to go *'s up early doors he'll feel the gaze from JK on his back, sound familiar ?

I wanted a clear out and a new beginning, instead we have the remnants from last seasons debacle still hanging around like a bad smell, that's not a healthy state of affairs.

Any manager should consider themselves lucky to be in the Celtic job.

Ange isn’t as lucky as Lennon was, twice.

You could argue Rodgers was lucky to get the gig. He was given a team that was pretty much guaranteed the league. If he chose somewhere else he could have ended up a midtable/ relegation fodder journeyman manager. If you have ambitions as a manager, Celtic is a great place to get you noticed.
