Totally agree, bizarre decision.

 

He gets the ball and runs straight with his head down and never looks up, constantly out of position also.

 

Des, Tom and Hazel are all better options at RB than this useless *.

 

I don’t understand why he wasn’t released a few years. He has next to no technical ability.

We’ll have released dozens of far better players than him, probably because they were “too wee”.

 

Scottish championship level at best, nothing more. We should have bought a right back in January as we sold both 1st team ones rather than Kenny.

 

That's what really * me off. We have all probably played football at some level in our lives and we usually know a good footballer when we see them however, we also know a poor footballer when we see one and Ralston is definitely a poor player. You would think that the footballing staff at Celtic would know more than us "ordinary" fans about football, would have spotted how bad a player he is. As you say, totally bizarre

Never good enough, O’Connor was on for 17 minutes and looked a much better option

 

The guy from Japan will land in glasgow before Ralston's shot will. Of all the players to give a extra year due to panic he must be the worst.

 

O'Connor gets the shout ahead of this lad, and that isn't based on how good O'Connor is.

I aint overly sold on Osaze guy either, but I'd put him at RB over Ralston at this stage as well.

It shows just how desperate we are when we give him another contract. There must be better quality RB's around in any of the so called lesser leagues who wouldn't cost the earth but do a better job than him. Shocking how the club haven't replaced both Michael Lustig and KT as well as not addressing our goal keeping problem

 

John Park was doing vital work, during his tenure here. I think he'd be a more important re-appointment than a managerial appointment.

 

He's worse than * and that's saying something and rather play a left back in his position and that says it all about Ralston .

Nearly 15 years on Celtics books in one way or another…. Surely time enough to decide he’s not good enough ?!? …. But instead the club persists ‘a’la’ Kennedy … like the guy is owed a living. He’s been on loans and never come back looking ready for 1st team. Ajer went to Killie for experience and came back 1st team match ready.. and for a very decent Celtic side.

Football is a cut-throat business and these are pro-footballers… there’s a level out there for him but it’s not celtic…. Not even a poor Celtic.
