Guys, please don't mistake my response as a support for Griffiths. I was as annoyed at his contract extension as anyone, and I'm somebody who defended him in spades before, but gave up on him last year when he clearly gave no * whatsoever when we needed our loyalty to him repaid.

My point is, how is anything a player does on his social media platforms, in his own time, on his own devices anything at all to do with the manager? Conflating this into the Ange thread is bullshit of the highest order, especially given how many knives are out for Ange without this.

 

Because he was the one that handed him a new contract, when it’s well known he’s a liability. It was a decision I backed to be fair but you live and die by those decisions.
