Just reading through the thread, I’m really glad that you guys are starting to like the way that he operates which is a stark contrast to 3 short weeks ago when most of you didn’t want him anywhere near your club!! Just goes to show to never judge a manager by his passport, this guy has earned his chance at such a great role. What you don’t see and probably never will is the narrative that he will be drumming into his players which I know of first hand is something that they have never before heard. He is a top top world class manager who if given the time will completely upend the club from top to bottom and make them a way more professional outfit. I highly doubt that he will make many personel changes this season but towards the end of this year and definitely next season he will bring in the correct players and staff to suit his way. Just needs time

That's because we're all desperate for him to do well and are right behind him. At the end of the day it's results which will deem him a success or failure.

You are no better than those who wrote Ange off as soon as they heard his name. Living in Aus - I know about him so I didn't write him off straight away. He was a surprising appointment and clearly a gamble. However, like 99% of Celtic fans, I'm right behind him and want him given a fair chance (given what he inherited).

I understand the frustration of Aussie Celtic fans that a number of UK based fans dismissed Ange without knowing anything about his record and achievements.

However, you simply undermine the case for Ange by saying that he is a "top, top world class manager" as if it's a fact. It isn't - it's your opinion and nothing more. The evidence to date shows that he is a very good manager and has been successful in Aussie + Japan - that does not make him a "top, top world class manager".

Personally I think it will prove to be either an inspired appointment or a big mistake - I don't think we'll be average.

I want to see sustained progression throughout the season and he needs to convince the fans that we're going to be challenging for everything in 22/23 if he wants to last more than one season.

The fans are behind him and hopefully he'll receiving the backing he deserves from the board. However, any way you look at it - the club have taken a risk and given him a chance. I don't think making ridiculous claims about him is helpful.

Yeah I thought by this point all the cringe aussies had their say blowing steam up Ange’s *.

The Scottish (and other) lads here have gotten a nice insight into Ange, they’re giving him support and now it’s in Ange’s hands (and the board to bring in players) now.

We don’t need these cringe responses anymore, it was embarrassing 3 weeks ago and it’s embarrassing now.

    Only results talk now.

Nothing to do with passports for me! I simply had never heard of him and given our clubs propensity for more often than not trying to do everything on the cheap I viewed his appointment with some skepticism. I was a bit underwhelmed with not much to say initially but having seen what he's about in recent days I feel a little more disposed to believe in him.

All these smug Aussies should shut the * up, we were supposed to jump with joy when we heard his name? hardly anycunt had heard of him and we are right to be sceptical, we support him but i am not buying into the club propoganda, he will be judged on performances not cringeworthy YouTube videos.

What about the cool Aussies who've been here for years?

They should be given every encouragement.
