    He chose to leave because he believed he would get more 1st team football at Hearts. We probably had KT and Izzy at the time

    We didn’t decide he was not good enough, he didn’t sign a new deal and signed for Hearts instead because he wanted first team football.

    He made the right choice in my opinion, reckon he’d be a good player for us as well.

    I don't think we would be able to move Taylor on. It's unlikely another team in the SPFL is going to be abke to match his wages here, so he won't want to go, and I don't blame him for that. I doubt he's on the radar of any English clubs that could match his wages, so we are pretty much stuck with him as our back up.

    As for Hickey, I'd rather not. We were in for him and he chose to go to Italy instead, so now we have to pay more for him as he isn't fitting in over there? Nah, pass.

    Yeah the only way we are getting rid of Taylor in Scotland is on loan..

    As for Hickey.. his choice was to get first team experience in Italy or sit on the bench in Scotland.. he absolutely made to correct decision in my opinion.

    I'm not against signing him, it's just a bit of a meh signing for me. I think we should be aiming for better and a 19 year old who's struggling to get into a poor Bologna team doesn't really fill me with that much confidence. That said, I would take him as a replacement for Boli/Taylor

    If we hadn’t let him go he wouldn’t have had the trajectory or development he’s gone on to have. He’d have loitered about the academy until he was about 22 and then cut loose.
