Aye this is my problem with it.

Ange's only going to take what Griffiths says at face value, so it's no real surprise that he's kept him, but there are plenty at the club that could have stepped in and said he's not worth it, that he's * numerous second chances over the years and saved us wages for a better, or even just a fit, striker.

He'll 100% be gone in January after * up again, probably won't even get his move to hibs.

    Was always going to happen.

It's a testament to how poor our squad is that keeping Griffiths was viewed as necessary business.

Unlike others, I don't doubt his ability. It's his horrendous lack of professionalism.

Interesting terminology. Sounds like they’ve agreed to a new contract as opposed to activating his option. Ange has put him in the last chance saloon, perform or he’s gone. No doubt the contract is heavily weighted to performance and playing, with penalties for indiscretions. There’s no way that he’s on previous wages.

The positive to take from this is that R*ngers fans hate him cos hes always a threat when he plays against them. One of my mates dreads him coming on

    This.

It's the same pish every year. "This is hopefully the kick up the * he needs", "now it's time for him to prove himself" etc. We've been here before, a number of times, with Griffiths.

And you're right. He's nowhere near as good as many believe.

Wonder how some of the players in the dressing room feel about it. Their teammate who couldn't get off his fat * during lockdown to get fit.

He's really not. He's scored 3 goals against them for us.

Callum McGregor is more of a threat.

I was hoping he would go but I wouldn't say I'm raging he's still here. As much as Leigh does go on like a * the facts are that he has been a proven goalscorer in previous seasons and yes those days might be long gone but I have absolutely no problem at all with him staying to be a back-up striker.
The worst thing that can happen is that he stays for another year and rots away on the bench collecting a wage but he could potentially score a few important goals for us if he shows even a glimpse of the talent he had years ago.

If he can't turn up fit for the manager who signed him for Celtic, the club thats stood by him during his personal issues and personal * ups.. Whilst it being the biggest domestic season in history, then why should he be deserving or trusted with another year?

    Gauling stuff man.

I would say that is the general feeling among most of us. Glad it's only a one year deal and hopefully he gets his head out of his * finally.

For those who are in love.....
They hate him because he wrapped scarves around their post's, openly got it up them at every opportunity and told them their club died..

They don't fear him one bit..

40 in a freak season where the division was utter *..

He's scored 36 in the last 5 season's if I've just read that link right. LOL..

    Griff will be back but..

He's been in brutal condition for age's
Much slower and was never rapid anyway
    First touch is an abomination
    Weak as *
    Attitude rank rotten

Imagine if we do get a top striker and he gets an injury and we're relying on this joker. Doesn't bare thinking about..

Someone's won a watch at that 1 year deal. I wonder who it is.......

I hope he is on the back pages for all the right reasons and not the front pages for all the wrong reasons.

I’d wait to hear what Ange says about it. Might make more sense then, might make less sense.
