Usual attention seeking behaviour from Leigh. Can't just knuckle down behind the scenes. Instead gets kitted out in full Scotland gear and gets his missus to film him to put on social media. Exact type of stuff I'm fed up with and the reason I hope the rumours about him being away are true.

 

Good on him. He’s constantly under scrutiny so show people you’re working hard this time.

 

Thats just it though - there’s much more to working hard than a Instagram story. The guys constantly feeling the need to validate their hard work on social media are unlikely to be the hardest workers for me. Would much prefer to have seen Griff just knuckle down and get on with in some time in the past few years.

 

He's clearly making a point with the Scotland stuff. You telling me he doesn't have any other stuff to wear. Tiresome yet again. Well shot of him.

 

Who cares? He’s not even at the club anymore and people are still talking about him. Even that * Lennon. He can post what he wants, best of luck to him.

 

He’s openly talked about not being up to standard. He’s not got some imaginary grudge. Leave the * alone he’s gone.

 

Hope things work out for him and he makes the most of the career he has left and is happy.

 

Jeezo mate. I'm commenting on a forum on his thread. Not going at him personally on social media. Too many distractions when it comes to Leigh. Needs to start doing his talking on the pitch. Glad he's away if true but hope he goes on to do well elsewhere.

Edit: in fact I'm not glad to see him go that's the wrong sentiment. I'm actually sad to see him go. I like the guy and wish he had done himself justice the last few seasons but we can't afford passengers right now and he's been one for far too long. I would love to see him leave social media as all it brings is hassle and distractions and for someone with mental health issues it's absolutely the wrong place to be but sadly I don't think he ever will. I wish him all the best tho.

 

So.. no chance a Leigh Griffiths goal for Hibs/Aberdeen costs us the league this year?

Sad to see him go , if he knuckles down and grows up and dumps the social media * then he could be a good addition to most teams .

Looks like Ange's cleanout of dead wood has begun.

 

He usually chuck's it against team's he likes..

He’s not misunderstood. He’s a wee fud who has coasted through his career on the fact he can hit the back of the net when given chance after chance. His attitude is stinking and that’s on him.

Even his Instagram profile is a prime example. He’s unfollowed the club. The classic teenage lassie move when she’s broken up with her boyfriend.

If Ange has chased him then he’s got his first big decision spot on.

 

If it is true and he goes he's going to be a pain in our beck next year probably at Hibs. He'll score goals no problem in the SPL in a team that he's a guaranteed start.

 

I'm completely indifferent.

I'm glad that Ange seems to be definitive.
