To be fair there was a Postecoglou quote above it that I wasn't sure if it was a) a statement or b) a query.

The under quote in the lower part of the quote referenced the c) strawman query...hence my confusion.

Apologies, I never mastered Gibberish at Uni.

Yokohama fan responses to Ange’s takedown of the BBC journo asking him about his “jump.”

Absolutely - this Aussie league 'debate' is a total waste of time - Ange is our manager now so let's look forward and get behind him.

I don't take a big interest in the A league but I do remember when he went to Brisbane - he cleared out at least 10 players and as you say, told the fans/media to give him a year and then judge him.

He clearly has total belief in his ability/methods (vital in any successful manager) and this "yes man" stuff is such BS.

If Ange is to be successful - he needs to be given control and backed by the board - listening on Friday, that seems to be happening. I don't like Kennedy or Strachan but its up to Ange to make his own mind up. If we wants them out or "demoted" and replaced by his own people then he must be allowed to do this - I suspect McKay will be much more supportive than Lawwell would have been.

I think this could be an inspired appointment or a disaster (don't see any in between). However, Ange has been appointed so he must be given the support he needs to deliver success. If he's given that support and it doesn't work out then there are no excuses.

I’ve had the privilege to have been to several Celtic matches in Glasgow.

In fact, I would confidently bet I’ve seen more of your own country, including random places like Thurso and Ullapool, then many people in this forum. Been over to Belfast too. I won’t be daft enough to claim that I’m a fanatical supporter of Celtic, but for political reasons I have ALWAYS been sympathetic to Celtic. There’s several more assumptions you’ve made about me, but it’s irrelevant to this forum thread and I won’t address them since this should be about Ange.

What assumptions have I made? That's very presumptuous.

Why are you assuming it's my country too? Why the reference to Belfast?

I'm very happy you wont address anymore points.

That's not an assumption or me being pressumptios, thats a bona-fide pragmatic declaration.

No, it’s an assumption, unless you have the ability to read the minds and feelings of more than 25 million Australians, but that would then also contradict the fact that huge Celtic fan clubs exist in Australia.

as I said, I would never claim to have been a fanatical supporter of Celtic before Ange came along, but I’ve always been sympathetic for political reasons, and spent probably at least £500 on tickets for several games over my 3 trips to Scotland.

I have a very low tolerance for idiocy, but unlike Ange, I’m the fool for allowing his low level trolling and insults to distract me for over an hour in this online engagement

I’ve traveled to Scotland 3x but I’ve been to 5 Celtic games. An Aussie friend of mine who moved to Glasgow after high school (his mother was Scottish) always organized the tickets.
