Where has the 48k season ticket number came from?

 

It really isn't that simple. Especially for all the season ticket holders that live outside of Scotland.

 

Exactly and the biggest fear for buses and individuals that travel long distance is that in any ballot they may not get enough tickets allocated to make it economically worth running a bus. Buses certainly can't afford to run half full. Plus those travelling from Ireland need to book places on the ferries.

Details of exactly how any and all ballots need to be announced pretty * quick with the season starting so soon. Personally I don't want to apply for say the West Ham friendly get in the ballot and then find out after won't be considered for another ballot for another 3 - 4 games.

 

So yer saying st holders that have purchased a st but don’t live in Scotland don’t want to go back to cp. it is that simple. I’m 100% positive that 99% of people who have bought a st want back in ASAP

All those outside Scotland who bought a st will still want back in ASAP
Yes logistics for those buses aren’t great but the point was that if you bought a st you will want back in ASAP

The point though wasn’t about being able to run buses it was that everyone who bought a st would want to go to a game ASAP

in fact do you know anyone who has bought one but has said I don’t want to go back ASAP

 

Not a case of wanting in its whether they're allowed in you're taking a very narrow minded view here

 

He is not saying they don't want back. I live in Glasgow so will be very easy for me to go back straight away but understand why some fans outside Glasgow may not be able to go.

 

Considering there's a mandatory 14 day isolation period when travelling to Ireland from the UK will put a sizeable amount out of being able to come for a start

You wouldn’t buy a st if you didn’t want back to games
At no point was the argument about running buses and filling them..it was a simple why would you buy a st then say you don’t want to go to cp to watch a game

Whether they can get back in is another argument which wasn’t what it was about

 

The argument was about not wanting to go...never about not being able to go

You argued that they may not be allowed back in but there was never a mention of whether you were allowed in or not in my initial point...they may not be allowed in but you can bet they still want to be in

 

FFS if you go to games on buses or ferries and there aren't buses or ferries then you can't go to the games.

If you buy a st you want in (shouldn’t need to opt in)
If you can’t get over here because of isolation etc then the option to opt out should be given
Celtic doing it back to * front as usual

These people you talk about still want to go but can’t
It should’ve been an opt out option not an opt in

 

If I was asked if I want to go on holiday after buying flights etc but it was physically impossible for me to go I'd still say I wanted to go on holiday

 

They have released no details on how the game by game ballots will run.

At this stage they are asking you to opt in to be put on their ballot system. Which I agree, is ridiculous.

In buying a ST, everyone should be placed on the system. Whether they opt in on a match by match basis is another issue entirely.
