His stats at Toulouse are actually really good. He has potential and I wouldn’t sell without a sell on percentage and at a profit for us.

However, I also don’t think he’ll fit in to Ange’s side so as long as we don’t make a loss I won’t complain too much.

 

He training today?

 

They’re similar to Lydon Dykes at QPR. If we can get a fee get it. We don’t have the luxury of gambling on somebody who’s already been deemed not good enough.

They had a fee agreed and want him if it goes down a bit, if he was good enough for what we need it would be snapped up instantly.

Might be harsh on him because I think he has some good qualities but we need to add to the budget to rebuild.

He also really doesn’t seem like a player Ange would like.

 

Similar stats goals and assists wise. But Dykes played 1500 more minutes than Bayo. Which is about 16 games worth.

You could argue that there was a reason he didn't get as many minutes and thats valid, but I think Bayo has something about him that could prove useful.

I'd go to Toulouse if I were him though

I agree he could prove to be useful, * his aerial ability defending a corner last year would be invaluable, but I think the only reason anybody would want him to stay rather than £2m in the kitty is because we don’t trust it to be spent and if it was we don’t trust it to be spent wisely.

I don’t think he’s bad, and if we couldn’t get an offer for him I wouldn’t mind him staying to see how we could use his attributes but if the offer is on the table, I’d hope we could better use that money.

But that’s just hope, nothing to back that hope up.

 

Been called up to the senior Ivory Coast Team. Surely get some good cash for him or give him a chance.

 

Aye his stats look half decent for Toulouse. I actually quite liked the big guy, thought he was a handful whenever he played for us. We will be looking for more quality though especially if we're wanting to compete in Europe.

 

I would've had Ange take a look at him..

Deffo has something but if we can get a decent fee then no complaints..

Didn't he just play for the u21s? I have noticed since posting that it's just the Olympic team but they have a decent squad there. Kessie etc

Very good in the air and gives us something completely different to what we’ve seen from Ajeti and Griff.

He could possible suit Anges style more than the other strikers tbh since he likes to utilise wingers, Bayo would be more of a threat from crosses

 

Would think we should at least be able to recoup the 2m we paid for him.

Deserves another chance for me. Def has a lot of attributes that we are badly lacking. I think he'll be pushing for a move though as I don't think the chance of going back to being a bit part player is desirable once you've tasted regular action.

 

Wouldn’t say he’s mince. Had a decent season for Toulouse, think he ended up with 11 goals in 33 league games and a lot of they appearances were off the bench.

Should easily get £2million back.

Also, stop spending 2 million on strikers? Only spend more? Dembele cost buttons, yeah we got lucky with the cross border rules, but he was about half a million. Griffiths was about a million and although recently he’s off it, he’s been a great return.

Look at Ajeti, roughly £5mil? And he’s not been great to be honest, I’m still hopeful he’ll turn it around. But it proves that the price doesn’t matter. It’s getting the right player.
