I expect there will be further detail announced in the coming days but I'd ask everyone to seriously consider supporting the actions proposed by a number of fan groups.

Top of that list is to boycott all of the club's non-ticketing services and merchandise.

These * need to understand that last season can't be swept under carpet. It won't be forgotten

Love the new training gear, going to pre-order a couple of hoodies along with the new away kit.

Each to their own and all that, but this attitude absolutely baffles me. And this isn't directed at you personally mate. There are thousands of grown adults doing similar.

As a parent or grandparent, I get that it's a very difficult situation. And in some ways I can probably turn a blind eye to it. Kids crying out for new strips/tracksuits for school, for birthdays, for Christmas. That's all they want and their mates have them.

But as an *, make a stand. Stand against this board with fellow supporters. Back the boycott and hurt them the only way we can. Starve them of merchandising income. Have Adidas come knocking on the door of the boardroom at the end of the year and say, sorry lads this isn't working.

New shirts. New training ranges. Promote, promote, promote. Say * no. Make a stand. Do not forget the * distain they had for the support last season. They literally locked us out.

Not really interested in a debate over this and I can understand why you've taken the P.O.V you have, but as you say it's each to their own in how people choose to spend their dosh. Personally I'd rather support the club financially.

I don't get the reasoning behind starving the club now when we have a new guy at the helm. It will only hamper his ability to do things differently. Lawell was the guy who ran things a certain way, he's gone. It's time to give McKay a chance, he has a reputation of interacting and bringing a fresh approach. If it's more of the same then fine, but give him a chance to change the culture first. The guy you really want to hurt has left the building. As you say though, each to their own.

There are pros and cons to that, and to be honest Im not going to criticise people on the stand they take. It's early yet, I want to see how signings pan out over the next 6 weeks. If in 6 weeks we go into the new season with Taylor, Boli, Montgomery, O'Connor and Ralston as our full backs or Welsh, Bitton, Hjelde and Jullien as our centre backds then the club can go * itself. That isn't an offence to guys like Welsh, Hjelde, O'Connor and Montgomery as they can play a big part this season but we can't rely on them and they need experience to learn from.

A very simplistic view, IMO. Pedro oot, Dom in and we're all one big happy fhamily again.

The issues go far beyond Lawwell. If that wasn't obvious before, surely now, after the last 12 months, it is? The people who hired Lawwell and paid him millions and millions. The very same people who have hired McKay.

McKay's reputation of 'interacting and bringing a fresh approach' is in the bin already. He's not the white knight many view him as. That has been very apparent to a number of fan groups already and will become apparent to the wider support in time.

6 weeks? Our season starts in less than 4.

Yeah Mckay may come in wanting to make changes but he may not get the chance. In the end Lawwell ran the club how the board wanted him to. They were happy with his performance over the years. If they had wanted changes they could have asked him to implement them.

He's barely in the door & we've to write him off already. Obviously the problems go deeper than Lawell, it goes without saying. I'm saying the culture was created under his stewardship. I'm willing to give McKay some time to do things better. I don't think that's too much to ask. If you don't want to, then fire away, that's totally up to you. I just see things differently.

There is also different people's affinity for the club. I was shocked at people renewing season books and thought it crazy, but reading some perspectives on it you can get it. People live and breathe the club, love it far more than me. Some people it's "their thing" and don't have other hobbies or anything so it makes sense they are invested. It wouldn't be me but I hadn't looked at it from the other perspectives.

The gear is stunning looking too tbf!

I expect changes before the 6 weeks, but I think we will have a better idea of our squad for the season in 6 weeks. In 4 weeks we will likely still have a few players we will sell. Players like Eddy, Ajer and Christie could be here in 4, but gone by August. I will also see more of how the team will be playing style wise after it all.

Actually don't think it'll take long to adjust to the new playing style since its very similar to Rodgers. Players will probably feel relieved its not hoof ball and actually know what to do upfront. Fingers crossed anyway.

Unfortunately as seen by the acceptance to renew, too many will pay lipservice to this idea, but just go ahead and hand their money over.

Pains me knowing this as well.

The training gear is gorgeous, even better than last year's.

But I'm not giving the club another penny till we see real change.

A new manager is not change, that's standard. It's what they do behind the scenes to support the manager and the players that we need to see.

Do that and I'll drop money like it's going out of fashion on this stuff.

Perhaps. It was established through various polls and surveys that the appetite for a ST boycott just wasn’t there. Hence the ‘non-ticketing’ wording. I hope it at least makes people think before handing over their hard earned cash to these inept charlatans
