    I remember something like that..

11 game's I think he's played over there. Funny thing is he would've definitely got more at us last season..

I think he's got a lot of potential and would sign him. No for 4 Mill and no as a starter though..

Not sure how true that is as he’s a Celtic fan and surely he’s confident enough to try and get into our match day squad.

€4m does seem steep, but tbh I've barely watched the guy play.

He's ridiculously 2 footed. Versatile. Quite good on the ball. A lot of potential. No rapid but can beat a man and quicker than Taylor (which isn't hard)..

Physically he'll fill out as still young but a lot to work with and he isn't that small height wise anyway..

We could do worse than him. We need a first team ready left back in first though..

I'm sure he started really well for them then caught Covid early doors and got a few injuries. So a bit of a disruptive year.

Bologna struggled a fair bit throughout the season and were in danger of relegation and I think Mihajlovic reverted to experience. Mitchell Dijks a one time target for us was his competition and he's a very decent player.

I was the same but wouldn't pay that fee for him.

So Bologna payed £2m for him and then less than a year and a handful of games later because of injury Celtic go in with nearly double that? Another wonderful endorsement of our transfer and scouting policy..

Honestly think he'd be the regular starter islf we signed him, can't see us offloading Boli and Taylor in the same window. I wouldn't be against that tbh, rated him and was decent enough for hearts when they were in the league. Might struggle in Europe mind.
€4m is steep but if we sell Boli for similar it's not horrific business overall.

Hickey looks more like a CM than a LB.
He’s technically very good but physically poor.

Ideally we would actually have a good LB who’d be first choice and he would takeover from Taylor in a backup role.

See at the moment given the number of players we need in and nothing has been done yet I would take him. I think he is better than what we have, which wouldn’t be hard.

There is no doubt far better options in terms of experience and probably economical too are out there but we have a thin scouting network and a manager who is just in the door with no staff around him.

I agree with those saying it’s ridiculous we could have got him for about £1.5m last year, if even that given the money they were due us for a sell on, has a disrupted season due to injury which raises reliability/ availability questions then buy him for double that, only Celtic!

Is €4million really too steep? He’s young, got potential, experience playing in Scotland and Serie A and he is a good player.

We pay €4million he does well and we sell him for at least triple maybe more.

    Its steep but hardly outrageous.

I think the frustrating thing for most is that we could’ve signed him for a significantly reduced fee less than a year ago.

Was not that not because they could more or less guarantee him first team football whereas we couldn't?
