Some idiot clearly mistaking able to talk about free transfer in January with ooc in January I'd say. Then social media have just run with that and the lazy media have regurgitated it, as per normal.

Has his flaws, but he's a full international with plenty of European experience. Absolutely no idea why our own fans are so fast to throw him away for minimum fee, especially to teams with plenty of finances to pay for him.

I'd be trying to get around £2.5, maybe £3 million for him.

aye probably but Christie had already been shifted out of his best position long before Turnbull got into the side.Christie had been playing extremely well the season before last, he shouldn't have been playing out of position which is my point

Was never a world beater but thought his form dipped hugely after missing that penalty against the COVID Free XI. Never recovered after that.

Not as bad a player as some think in here, not convinced he is as much of an * as some think, will be a loss within our squad

You can tell someone is talking nonsense when all these articles report his contract is up in January and then claim Nice offered us £8m for him in January.

If someone had offered £8m for Christie who wanted to leave in January when our season was done and given the money we have lost, there’s no way he would have been kept.

On another note if Ajer, Edouard, Ntcham and Christie are going, get them out and get replacements in. We have started preseason (barring internationals), so any new signing will be behind fitness wise and getting used to Ange’s methods by the end of the week.

But he has got too big for his boots, he has been a * shambles at times playing out of position or not.

His Da thinks he is Ronaldinho and keeps bigging him up to leave. Need to get rid of the *. Thinks he’s much better than what he is.

I think that's about £4.2 million in total, which is a fantastic fee for a player who's been absolutely garbage for the last 12 months and has 6 months leftm
