He cannot be held responsible should we fail in the CL qualifiers. In fact, if the appointment fails in general he shouldn’t be blamed. The board have gambled at a time when we cannot afford to get it wrong.

George you are putting me off Ange more than Ange ever could. This coming from someone willing to give him a chance (as do the vast majority of Celtic fans) and hoping he succeeds.

Your hyperbole and * like worship of him is really off putting though.

Wake up ! Celtic do not have vast millions to spend ! They are not economically in the same league as PSG, Chelsea, Manchester City, Barcelona or Real Madrid. The wealth of Celtic is right under your noses and you can not see it. Uncut diamonds that need to be cut and polished. Celtic Academy players are your future ! Wake up ! Believe in them, give them a chance to nurture and develop them and you will have a winning and exciting team to watch for decades and players being bought by major clubs who want them also.

The amounts of Aussie's on here constsntly banging on about giving Ange time at the start & the dark days at the start. Ange isn't getting time, he needs to start winning right from the start or he won't see Christmas. You can moan about this all you want but this is Glasgow not Sydney & 1 loss is seen as a disgrace.

George, seriously... you're making Australian Celts sound like idiots.

Re-read my last post because I'm on the verge of blocking you - even though I appreciate your Ange passion.

I will tell you something. I was 13 years old when I saw Celtic beat inter Milan on tv. When Tommy Gemmell scored the second goal I cried tears of joy that day, especially because it was a beautiful shot outside the box from the big man. I love the way Bobby Lennox and Jimmy Johstone played on the wings and how courageous they were. I do not say I have a Scots or * heritage, but do not tell me that I have not loved this club for over 50 years !

    No-one's doubting that.

But you need some proportion man. Australian and Scottish football culture are so different. Just read and absorb for a while and your patter will be more appropriate.

You’re in your late 60s, a Celtic supporter your whole life yet in a recent post you refer to us as “they”?

Strange pronoun for a lifelong Tim to use.

Also used “you” to describe “us/we”

I would not presume to be on the same level as Celtic supporters in Glasgow and Scotland. Also Melbourne is a fair distance from Glasgow, so I don't think 'us' and 'we' is appropriate since I do not know any of you personally. However if you choose to bring it to an issue of semantics in language that is your choice.

It’s not a distance issue. You said you love the club and remember watching The Lions. ‘We’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘my’ are just words I assume roll off the tongue of Celtic supporters without thinking.

It doesn’t matter anyway, it’s more your worship of Postecoglou that’s annoying.

    I'm betting you're a South fan George.

Might be a Celtic fan an all but a little perspective on these boards, please...
