I hate that he's been put into this horrible position by the board. McKay parading him like he was the first choice when the footballing world saw the farce we made of the Howe deal.

That's the question we don't have a DOF or head of recruitment at the moment and that's shocking and should have been in weeks ago .

 

I see plenty wrong with it to be honest. It just made him look silly considering he completely destroyed Deila, for far less than what Lennon put us through last season.

He did have a go at the board. I have actually said that previously. He gave the board it tight to begin with, but then it quickly turned to Deila. It should have been consistently aimed at the board the criticism. They appointed someone who wasn’t at the level we needed, and then didn’t back him. He was always destined to fail. He was working with one arm tied behind his back.

 

Surely there are players in his old team that are good enough for us, the J League is a good level. If we sign a few of them we know they are coming from him.

Twitter rumour mill is saying his backroom team at Yokohama are on their way over.

This appointment has the Mowbray Debacle written all over it. Its all good saying you will ONLY play attacking football. But if our defence CANT defend and keep the ball out of the net we are going to lose the league and NOT qualify for EUROPE.

I can only hope this appointment has learnt from previous mistakes and is adaptable when the situation requires it.
