I think this will fall through and we'll end up with Kennedy!

I'm going to watch their game today and see if he has his suitcase and passport with him in the dugout

Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
Clarkes the type of manager to get you to the knockout stages in the champions league as he knows how to set up against better opposition, which is pretty much what he’s had to do his whole career in management.

People just like to ask what trophies he’s won like that proves he isn’t good or something lol.

Still baffled that we’ve lost another 4/5 days because he's staying to manage a second round cup tie against lower league opposition (from what I can gather).

    What a * riddy

What's gone on at our club from last year is absolutely disgusting but if he's not here for the first day of training it's truly unforgivable given the task at hand..

It's literally impossible for him to be at the first day of training. Players return on the 17th of June for preseason training. It's now the 9th of June and he still needs to arrive into the country and quarantine for 10 days.

Yeah no idea. Seems extremely strange. I have no interest in Charlie * Nicholas or his comments but he made a fair point yesterday. This is the time where we should be speaking to free agents and guys who'll be out of contract to see if they are willing to come up the road. Unlikely that we will be doing that right now if we can't even get the manager on the training ground before the 21st of June

Has Clarke ever managed a side in the CL, let alone had one reach the knockout stages?

My thinking is yokohama marinos wanted to wait until after the cup tie before releasing him , maybe they cant get replacement until then or they wanted to make sure there was no unsettling till aftwr the cup game

    Nay problem.

Park him in a caravan next to the training ground and he can shout through a bullhorn.

It's a disgrace. When the Howe deal fell through, we should have went out and got him as quickly as possible. It's been weeks now. This should have been sealed days ago and he should be in the middle of his quarantine.

No reason they can't set up a life-size webcam screen of him, and he can lead the training from his room, in Japan since he still wouldn't have signed by then anyway...

No, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t the type of manager to be able to get us there. Which he probably is to be honest. I think he is pretty similar to Strachan in terms of how he sets up his teams against stronger opposition.

Not going to lie, I would rather take a punt on Postecoglu than get in Clarke

No doubt, but I'm pretty sure today's opposition are in the 4th tier of Japanese football.

We should be dictating when he arrives. * embarrassing.

    Absolutely.
The Celtic managers job is a big deal. This guy should be biting our hand off to take it. Should have been on the first plane here when he was even mentioned.
Letting guys like him and Howe dictate timescales to us is so * *.

:56: Mon. They operate in a different sphere to us financially. Their expectations are considerably higher than ours.

Before joining, their last manager had won 3 Champions League titles, the EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1. I could go on.
