He’s a good player with the potential to be a lot better but he gets the easiest ride I’ve ever seen for a guy that’s part of a defence that leaks goals from corners and free kicks like a sieve.

He’s also absolutely useless in the oppositions box, he comes up for corners for a laugh.

His overall contribution has been positive and I wish him all the best.

He is absolutely a centre half, an international one actually. That line of reasoning/excuse for him is pure nonsense.

Wish him all the best. Honestly some of our fans need to take players moving on a bit less personally.

Been here for 5 years now and developed very nicely.

Don’t need to be in the dressing room mate all you have to do is watch their performances and see the grumbling from Lennon at the start who isn’t innocent either in his conduct of running a team then take into consideration what the agents did in the summer their with their statements to the press and what Charlie Christie was gibberish to the press also then look at how the board has dealt with the Ivan Toney Ben Davies and Eddie Howe situations every single last person in the board and playing staff have let down the fans this season

Ajer is a model professional and to suggest otherwise is ludicrous.

Was he a better player than most second half of season yes I’ll give you that ... he’s the only person that really played for a move though his early performances start of the season were appalling only by the time after Milan game came his performances picked up a team that was rumoured to have an eye on him he was * poor against ferencvaros a game that mattered the most

At the start of the season I'd have said * him for wanting away, but he was pretty much one of the only players who tried last season, well half the season, even though he wanted away. So I wish him all the best.

Don't blame him one bit for wanting out now. Place is a joke.

    Love him..

We'll seriously, seriously miss him. No only did he cover loads with his pace but his ability to bring the ball out from the back was as good as anyone's. Has leadership qualities also..

Wish him well. Whoever gets him is getting potentially a top class, ball playing centre half..

Was always leaving, even if we got Howe. Gonna miss him a lot, hope we get at least 12 million for him, 6 is disgraceful.

Was always going to leave but it doesn't make it any easier. Especially when you look at our squad. Hopefully a good move for him and us, money wise.

He’s a good player that won’t be easy to replace.

I don’t have any problem with him wanting to leave to be honest. He’s done his bit and kept going when others chucked it last season.

As others said, the place is a riot right now. We need to get our house in order or players won’t want to come here.

My favourite player at the club, and a far better player than many like to admit.

One of few to come out of last season without disgracing himself.

He’ll thrive at the right club with a good manager/coaches.

He's decent footballer with some good qualites but not irreplaceable, as a defender he's rash, lacks good positioning and isn't dominant in the air despite being 6,5.

The rashness has all but went out of his game now.
