Adidas- 5 year deal - Pre order- 10th July, New Home Kit

Aye, they did alright this year, but with the state of affairs right now I can see a fair downturn next season in terms of sales, 10iar stuff was probably a factor in getting a bumper deal as well

 

No doubt there will have been merch organised around it that they now need to ditch (be it Adidas branded or just the usual Celtic Store stuff), and for sure I can see a downturn in kit sales next year - which is why they need to sort the manager out properly.
But still plenty of time on the contract for Adidas to be happy with the deal overall. Clubs have bad seasons and drop in sales all the time, nothing new to them to suddenly scare them away.

Had this been the final 2 seasons (with next year being the last in a deal and with poor sales) then sure, there could be issues. But 3 more AFTER next season to keep it all ticking.

 

Many clubs across Europe are actively selling their new kits.
We normally launch/reveal ours at the start of May.

I am sure someone will tell us about how the board are doing the right thing, but seems massively odd/concerning even at how quiet this all seems to be as well.

 

I actually feel better about the fact I stopped buying kits years ago
