Potential Manager Suggestions?

Rui Faria would be a much better option than Ange. Still underwhelming but he's got the experience of working, albeit as a number 2, at some if the biggest clubs in the world and under a DoF (if we ever get one) would be a good appointment I feel.

Just get Kennedy to *. Give it to big Fran as interim interim manager. They can swap jobs that way Kennedy still gets to be celtic despite not being cut out for it

 

Nobody will accept anything other than a big name now ... 99 days after sacking the last manager which even at that was left far to late

 

I don't know much about him so this is a lazy opinion, but someone like Faria would be more encouraging.

The problem I see with an appointment like that though is similar to Postecoglou - I feel they need to come into a structured environment rather than thrown into this mess we have now.

For example, imagine we had looked at a modern European club and poached someone to be a Director of Football and they had worked with Faria before and wanted him in to coach the team, along with some coaches they had both worked with before. How much more encouraging would that be?

A DOF coming in with links to top academies and scouts, experience modernising a European club, bringing in coaches that have worked at the top level. All that would be great.

Throwing Faria in to work with a Rugby CEO and John Kennedy would be a riot.

 

Faria is still available at 40/1 so I doubt there’s anything to the rumours

Find it bizarre that people were being attacked on here for defending the idea of Ange .. but Faria? Oh yeah all sunshine and rainbows if it’s Jose’s old assistant.

 

Faria would be every bit as bad an appointment as Ange. It's frightening how low we set the bar

 

Faria has done absolutely nothing to even merit an interview for the Celtic job.. * *..

I'm 99.9% certain it won't be him..

So he will probably be announced tomorrow

 

2 weeks to go until training resumes. Plenty time.

 

So another day passes with no announcement of a manager or even a snippet of news. The closer we get to the players returning to training the more likely it's Kennedy..
