Obviously Ange is my guy but what about Chris Wilder? A similar mould in terms of work he's done. Can't imagine he'd be too expensive as well.

 

I've read the BBC article of Ange. I enjoyed the line from one Aussie journalist saying that his teams are defensively frail. Glad to see we're keeping the same philosophy at the back that has treated us so well last season.

Rumours on the other site are that Shaun Maloney has been offered the job

Yeah was just gonna post here, heavy rumours online is that the Ange deal is nowhere near as finalised as the media are making out, and that Maloney has been offered the managers position.

As is the case with the Aussie, I could maybe get behind it if they punt Kennedy and Laptop.

 

I thought he'd been offered the DoF role? We're a * riot man

 

Apparently Thierry Henry has been brought into the Belgium set up as cover..

Unfortunately I think Kennedy and Laptop are going nowhere no matter who comes in mate

We definitely are, but I think the media have been sold a dummy with this Ange stuff, they're now pushing the narrative that he'll "be announced" at the end of week, when the majority of them said it was imminent.

Of course, he could be announced tomorrow and I'm talking complete *, but idk, they were adamant that Keane was our new manager too, I could honestly believe the Maloney stuff.
