Regardless if he has plan B or plan Z is immaterial I for one don't believe there has been a whole lot of 'planning' involved

I think the issue most have is this "plan B" is a millions miles away from plan A. In Howe it looked like we bagged one of the most promising attacking managers in the game and we compare that to Ange who from what I can see from a few Google searches has done ok/good. I really am trying to find a positive in plan B but am really not sure I can say their is any.

Like every Celtic fan I'll get behind him if/when he gets here. That being said, it doesn't change the fact we should be appointing better. I cannot help but think this a ridiculously risky move.

Some suggestions I seen here far better here and viable. Nuno espirito Santo, patrescu and the one I mentioned in ranieri. Surely those 3 are achievable and better options than Ange?

The very fact that we're 3 month down the line and still haven't got a manager or DOF tells you all you neeed to know about those who are supposed to be running our club.

Eddie Howe's resumé is a joke compared to Ange Postecoglus

I appreciate what you are saying but are those guys really that much better than Poestecoglou? those three could easily fail as much as Ange, I do believe there is a bit of Euro snobbery here. Not aiming that at you

This is riskier than Ronnie or Barnes.

He's a complete unknown, untested and has little to his name as a manager whether that be in Asia or not.

We as a club, should be doing far better at sourcing candidates, then going for Ange after we failed with Howe

So he can't take the job now and then do the badges during the next few weeks?

I want a coach who can balance a team who believes defence is just as important as attack only way we will progress in Europe

Barnes was an untested coach. Postecoglou is a World Cup manager that's won muntiiple titles

From I've read we could appoint if he had started the course apparently that's what we did with Lennon first time around. I've also seen it can take 6 months even if it's fast tracked no idea if that's true or not in fairness. Again though it's the bigger picture almost 100 days since Lennon left and we're trying to appoint a guy we literally can't appoint

Not saying that Howe was the perfect candidate but, as a fan, I was far more excited about his appointment than this Ange guy. To be quite honest, I’d never heard of him until last Friday.
It’s also obvious that having chased Howe for 3 months, Ange is a last minute panic option from the board. Why any fan is happy with this is beyond me.

Ronny was a project that failed but in fairness at that time we had time on our side as Aberdeen was our main competition

    We’re a European minnow.

There has never been a wider disconnect between the Club and the supporters in my lifetime.

Many of our most longest serving supporters are not returning due to the way in which they’ve been treated.

We’ve lost out on several future stars of the game due to his own personal stubbornness and ego.

He refused to back our highly successful and professional manager in 2018 when the CL money was increasing substantially, bringing the beginning of the end to our best team in our recent history, for which he was not responsible in the first place.

We haven’t qualified for the CL since, surrendering at least £100million pounds in the process.

He appointed his highly incompetent and unprofessional friend, Neil Lennon without considering other applicants. Imagine your ‘hero’ of a CEO doing that at any other major organisation? He’d be chased out the door within seconds.

His player and management recruitment policy involves giving either Dudu Dahan or his boy a phone and seeing what they can offer.

I don’t know what to say to you if you think he’s been a positive influence on Celtic. The money he is paid to act so unprofessionally and to display such incompetence on a regular basis is * criminal.
