Aye, this argument of "well he's 55 and nobody has taken a chance on him so he must be *" is laughable.

Some managers reach the top or their peak earlier than others. As do some players. Jamie Vardy was still playing for Fleetwood Town at the age of 25. Drogba was playing for Guingamp at the age of 25.

Because the Slavia Prague manager would want to be off his * rocker to leave his position to come here at the moment.

Of course there will be exceptions. I just don’t fancy taking a massive gamble at this crucial stage in our history. It was fine when all we had to beat was a poor Aberdeen team, we could afford to experiment. Now though, we are on the verge of collapse. I just think it is far too big a risk.

Don't accept it. Protest and chase the * on the board as I say regardless of whether or not you want him to be manager or not he will 100% be a victim of circumstances

I want him for the exact reasons you don't.

It's a fair point. I just don't see many managers that don't carry risk that would come to us at the moment.

It's all the more frustrating that any manager who comes in will get no preparation time.

Because we have * all money for transfers, we play in Scotland and Slavia are consistently in the Champions League in recent years.

Exactly next season the league will be worth minimum 30 million and we've spent 3 months and made no progress regardless of who comes in next season is a write off

As much as I agree that the * on the board need chased, it just won't happen.

The protest last year when we wanted Lennon gone. The protests down south after the Super League nonsense. Boards and owners just double down. Unless someone comes in with a * load of money and wants to buy the club, we're lumped with Desmond and the usual suspects.

I'm sort of surprised we haven't had proper confirmation yet that he's our manager, not necessarily from the club itself, but I'd of thought we'd have had more rumours flying around that it's done

Aye there is never any guarantees with a manager. I would have felt a lot more safe with Howe over Postecoglou though. A lot more optimistic as well.

I know very little about the man - pretty much the same as Eddie Howe.

If he’s appointed, then I’ll back him wholeheartedly and I hope he does well.

Very underwhelming feeling about the whole thing though.

It still doesn't mean we should sit on our hands and just accept the * that we get served up

So would I. I guess I'm trying to look at it from a more optimistic angle. The idea of our season being over before it's begun is a bit depressing. Whoever comes in has a massive job to do in a very short period of time.
